I had used and recommended this place to friends for years. Recently I called from my home out of state to request a repair and specific parts when I returned to FL. I brought the car in and the repair was made using the wrong parts! (3 days for a 5 to 6 hr. Repair) They redid the work and then gave me the bill for the price increase of the requested parts. Each spark plug cost $35! Talk about price gouging. Something is not up to snuff. And, the counter person blamed me for the redo. That mechanics are great but the place is really disappointing in the area of customer satisfaction. I'm taking my future business elsewhere. Lots of excuses, but it won't happen to me again.

I really wanted to like this place. My old mechanic sold his building and closed so I gave these guys a try. Unfortunately, I am 4 weeks and $1500 into a problem that has yet to be resolved. They had my car for 3 days last week and all they did was clear the error code and let it sit in their parking lot. 2 hours after I picked it up, the check engine light came back on. I called them 2 days ago and have not had a response. This being their 4th attempt to resolve this issue, I guess they gave up since no one has bothered to call me back. They charged me $90 to clear that code though, so that was a nice touch.

Swift Auto was a great place to go. Jeff is still there but also some new ownership. Prices have tripled. $180 per hour for labor. I don't like greed. The shop still looks the same and they didn't pay more to employees. I can't afford to go there anymore. It's a shame. $192 to re-install a door handle that I already had the part. Next time I will use you tube. I was expecting about $60. My review last year or beyond would be much different as you see on google.

Old school neighborhood repair shop. No "big chain" franchise, just a local business. Parts & labor costs are good. Turnaround time is excellent. A very friendly staff that will work with you, not an "all the work or nothing" type of place. I bring all of my family's cars here for oil changes/preventative maintenance as well as major repairs.

Had my whole suspension replaced by Jerry. He did a terrific and timely job. Clearly knows what he’s doing. He and Tommy in the office are very nice guys. Ya can’t go wrong doing business here. I’ve been a customer for decades.

Went for check engine light on and they don't charge just to scan.... love that. He reset it and said if it comes back on in a few days bring it in to find out what's going on with the engine... she's 13 years old and I've had her for 10!!

GREAT SERVICE GREAT PRICE COMPLETELY TRUSTWORTHY LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED!Do I need to say more! I see some gorgeous high end cars being worked on when I stop by but they work just as hard on my 2006 scion Xb. I feel so lucky to have found this shop. We have been taking our cars to Swift for 4 years and they have been reliable, skilled, good communicators, and timely in getting our work done. It doesn’t get any better!

I deleted my previous positive review and decided to be more open about my experience here. I’ve gone to these guys for years but never can walk out without feeling ripped off anymore. Years ago, maybe, but that sixth sense of “I don’t really think that was an issue and I was taken advantage of” is usually the experience now.I’ve taken a car here for fuel related issues and they diagnosed and repaired the wrong parts. Finally they sorted the issue on the second go and acted offended I was dissatisfied with their “throw money at us till the problem goes away” attitude. I’ve taken another car here for pulley noise only to have it still make the same noises. I’ve taken a car here with perfect wheel studs only to have one magically become “seized”.If you choose these guys, DON’T tell them you’re going on an extended trip, or they’ll find some “issue” they can pry money out from your wallet, because they know you’re likely to address them. Just go in and ask for what you need, oil change, etc. If I hadn’t mentioned going on trips, they’d likely just have done what I needed and nothing more. They assume you’re not going to be back for awhile, or you’re going to hand them money for things that don’t really need to be done, or both.This place has changed in the last four years. They’re getting greedy.
