I hardly ever write bad reviews but this needs to be posted. I was inside the store looking around and I had about 7 different employees approach me within 10 minutes. They were constantly following me around. I started to smell the perfume and then a guy security guard started to follow me around the rest of the store . I should’ve turned around and said look I would never steal and I don’t need to steal but here hold my basket and make yourself useful. I took my time and looked around on purpose even though I was being followed. I checkout and purchased a bunch of stuff like I always do. When I left the store my kid even said
“ Why were those people following you around like you were going to steal?” 😭
I felt so uncomfortable. If they thought I was going to steal I’m more then willing to show you my bank account balance or how much I spend yearly in Ulta.
I won’t be returning to this location. I stopped into Sephora which is down the street from this location and had zero problems. I was greeted as soon as I walked into the store and told if I need any help to let an employee know. No following around or harassing!

My lady had questions about wedding makeup and upon entry, we were promptly greeted by Marissa!
She was very informative, helpful and kind. She didn't try to push anything on my lady, but rather worked with her to find the colors that worked best for her. Her vibe is that of caring and genuine. She made sure she found the right under-eye creme and the magic water creme. She also tested skin-tone colors.
Marissa did a wonderful job and should be recognized. Her customer service skills are second to none and she's pleasant as can be.
If your lady is going to Ulta in Sarasota, make sure to ask for Marissa. You'll definitely be happy you did!

Love this place. Maybe too much! Lol I always walk in to pick up just an item or two but end up walking out with a bag full of goodies. Fabulous selection of makeup, hair, perfume, and skin care products. They have mastered having something for most price points. My only criticism is they carry products from companies that engage in cruel animal testing. This is in no way a reflection of the employees but corporate policies. It's 2024 and completely unnecessary to carry products that cause pain and suffering to animals. I would like Ulta to eliminate those products. If so, then they would be a 5 star store. Due to this, my recommendation is to be careful what products you purchase here. Unfortunately, it's up to the customer to do the research and look for cruelty free products because corporate policy doesn't care about the pain and suffering of animals.

I’m very very disappointed that I just drove here and tried to come in but the woman working apparently decided to close up early? I would appreciate if the hours were adjusted if you do in fact close at 6pm on Sunday.

Clean and organized. Friendly and helpful employees. I was in and about in less than 5 minutes for my mascara.

Service is great, some of the products are a little overpriced, if you have sensitive to fragrance be aware.

So disappointed. I went in to get a hair cut and consultation for color with Salina D. I set the appointment the following day and they could not get me in for a month, but thats fine. I got a call 5 days before my appointment saying they had to cancel and rescheduled me for the following week. I'm getting a full bleach so I had to take off work for the reschedule. My appointment was supposed to be tomorrow, 5/29 and I just received a call canceling again! No expectation, just sorry she can't do it. I will never get my hair done here again.

I went to make a purchase today & I wasn’t greeted for the 35 minutes that I looked around the store , nor was I asked did I need help , two other people walked in directly after me & they were greeted as well as asked did they need help, seems suspiciously prejudice to me , but I digress , the associates at this location need to work on inclusion & equal treatment, I won’t be back , very disappointed in the outcome, I’ve worked in retail for several years & this has never happened to me before.

I am very frustrated with this location. I am from out of town, 2 hrs to be exact. I had placed an online order that was completely PAYED for, I arrived at the location at 8:04. They closed at 8:00 which I thought it was 9pm but I realized on the door it said 8:00 after the fact. But anyways I got excited because the sales lady was still in the front , at the cashiers about to close. Once I sent my boyfriend to the door it was LOCKED!!! I told him to knock on the door and she saw him and gave him signal to wait a minute. He waited about 10 minutes then the lady came to the door and just looked at him and shrugged her shoulders and walked away. After signaling him to wait a minute with her finger and him waiting outside. SHE SAW ME TOO WITH THE CAR DOOR OPEN AND IM SIGNALING TWO FINGERS FOR HER TO KNOW I WAS TRYING TO COMMUNICATE I WAS COMING FROM 2 HRS AWAY . She didnt even ask him what she could do for him or anything , ALL SHE HAD TO DO WAS HAND US THE ORDER IT WAS PAID AND EVERYTHING OR AT LEAST ASK WHAT SHE COULD HELP US WITH. I DROVE BACK HOME 2 HRS WITHOUT MY ORDER IM SO FRUSTRATED !!!!!!!!! NOW I HAVE TO TRY TO SEE IF I CAN CANCEL OR TRANSFER IT TO ANOTHER LOCATION.
