I opened a new account at USF this week. I have heard that this was a great place to bank but they exceeded my high expectations. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Almost immediately I was being helped by one of their bankers, Sean. He was very knowledgeable about the available options and explained them clearly. I do not have a financial background at all, but he took his time so I understand all my options. He was extremely helpful with a wire transfer that needed to happen and even called me in the late afternoon to confirm its arrival. I had some follow up work to do the next day; the staff at the credit union remembered me and greeted me like an old friend! Sean took time explaining different options that I was interested in available at this credit union. I was never pressured, only informed! I came away with a new account that will provide a much better return than what I had been receiving at the big chain bank I was using previously.USF credit union branch is conveniently located, comfortable and welcoming. Since this is flu season, I was happy to see that the bathroom is spotless with paper towels instead of the air dryers ( air dryers are a less sanitary way of drying hands. Since I am retired from a health care profession I notice these things!)I was also pleased to notice that they have a professional banker available who is fluent in Spanish. Its great to see a company that shows awareness of the banking needs of our whole community.I loved the sense of local commitment, high professionalism and warm service here at USF. This was the best experience with a financial institution that I can recall!

I was immediately greeted by a smiling face when I entered the bank.The person who welcomed me took some quick info and within 3 minutes I was sitting in an office where Shawn assisted me with a complex family account matter. He patiently guided me through the process and explained each step that was necessary to reach the desired outcome. He ensured each form was correctly completed and ready for processing. I left the bank feeling confident we were on our way to success and thankful to have someone with his knowledge to assist me. At no time did I feel pressured or rushed, I felt as I was the most important client in the bank while he helped me. Later in the day I received a follow up text letting me know everything had been processed and completed successfully. This was just another action to make this a perfect banking experience. My expectations were exceeded and I am very happy with the entire transaction. Well done USF Clark road!

You can't get a hold of them. I took out a car loan and they are taking out double payments. Sit on hold, hours of operations are impossible. Think twice before you work with them. Then choice not to.

The experience here is amazing. I had so many questions and unsure of things before coming in, thankful the Manager and staff was so knowledgeable and helpful. They made banking so much easier for me. They also answered EVERY question I had. Thank you so much. I recommend and will come again.

There is not enough time to rave about the excellent, top notch service I have received. From the amazing tellers, to the branch manager and everyone else.I have gotten loans that were better than other bank could offer.They are quick to tell you of any opportunities there are to better your money.The best part is they are ALL very friendly and never pushy and it does not matter if you have $10 or $100,000. Everyone gets the same amazing treatment!!

This is an absolute abomination of a credit union. They truly do not care about their "members". Got a loan from them (not my choice) in 2020. I lost a job in that time and rather than truly work with me, they allow me to keep falling behind on my payments. I have racked up almost $500 in late fees and haven't been able to catch up. If you need to ship a payment, they want tons of paperwork and for a committee to decide your fate. Rather humiliating. When I had a previous loan with Nissan, they allowed you to take a skip a pay up to twice per year without penalty. If you do the paperwork and get "approved", you get to pay a $35 fee. As I said, I'm only a member because my loan got shopped to them. I suggest that if you have a choice, do not do it. Stay far away. Update: they work with people under their strict conditions.

Ever since the Covid-19, this bank has been behaving in anti-consumer behaviors. I have lost thousands of dollars from backed up payment processing which they’ve illegally stolen and conspire against me with thieves. I reported them to several Federal Agencies which has promised to investigate and audit the bank. Anyone else who’s been a victim should do the same so that the university might decides it’s worth having thieves on their premises; not that the university didn’t abused or stole from me. Overall, it’s an exacerbated culture of the University and its associates to steal from students, parents, and clients!

Whatever you do, ALWAYS make you you physically visit this branch if you need something done. There is usually little to no wait here. If you call USFFCU, you will be put on hold for hours and hours until well past closing time.
