I was returning a Christmas gift item and had the gift receipt. I was told in a very condecending manner that the merchandise was from an outlet store. I said I just want what my daughter paid for it. The sales associate repeated it was from an outlet store 4 times and that I could go to one in Orlando. I was at the Sarasota store where I live and said I am not going to drive up there. She reluctantly started to generate an in store credit. The other employee told her that she should give me a gift card since I had a gift receipt so I could shop on line. As a retired high end department store manager I would not tolerate an employee treating a customer the way this girl treated me. I was going to purchase something with the gift card, but did not want to do business with her. I should have suggested she go home and watch the movie "Pretty Woman".

I have been at this store many times and had made many purchases. The last time I came was on 3-27-19 in the afternoon. Three female employees were working at the store at the time it was around 4:30pm.I walked in and was not even acknowledged or greeted. I thought it was kind of odd since that didn’t happen to me before especially at that location.
My husband came in 10 minuets later and they greeted him but totally ignored me. I ended up not making a purchase since I was treated that way and honestly wouldn’t go back there again. The sad part is I was looking to make a purchase for my daughter. It was very disappointing and unprofessional of all three of them to completely ignore the customer. I believe that their conversation was a bit more important or they just didn’t have enough training in customer service.
