I’ve been a WellsFargo account holder for 20+ years but the WF Bank on Main in Sarasota is last straw. Slow at D/T, slow inside, never enough tellers. And the ones they have aren’t trained to do what they need in order to service all customers. Fifth Third you just got my business. 12/09/24

Went to exchange my Euros and Pounds from recent trip. (I had gotten the Foreign Currency originally from Wells Fargo Bank, but different location in Sarasota). My husband said they would exchange the bills back to US Dollars. Couldn't do thru drive thru even though I have several brokerage and a bank account with Wells. So I parked, got ticket good for 30 minutes to park and went into bank. OMG what an experience that was. Teller had to get 2 Managers to help and the main manager said my bills had been folded and they might not take them back. Well let me tell you, yes I fold bills because don't take huge wallet when traveling etc to store them unfolded. Absolutely ridiculous. She said other banks do the same thing. Then she starts talking about Asia currency? I told her I didn't care about Asia. I also told her Wells needs to type up return instructions to Do Not Fold Foreign Bills. Have had another bad experience this branch one other time, so I won't return. Drive up people very nice, but extremely slow. Sure all the requirements put on them from this Manager. She definitely has issues and needs to get a life. I felt so sorry for Teller that helped me. Person could not believe the Bill Folding ordeal. Embarrassed and not sure how long they will want to keep this job. Probably very high turn over here with this current manager. Costly Wells a lot of money for training.

Worst financial institution in town - Worst! Lost critical paperwork then blamed it on FedEx. Take no responsibility for their own incompetence.
The Bank Manager, Nancy, delivers the worst customer service I've experienced from just about anyone (let alone a bank). Will be withdrawing all my investments from Wells Fargo - Lots of other institutions who appreciate their customers and know how to treat them.

Why have the drive through open if it takes 30 minutes to get anything done? There isn’t a line either. It’s just the same 3 cars, we’ve all been sitting here at least 30 minutes watching one woman scramble and apparently do nothing. It’s absurd to think there is an entire high rise building above me full of Wells Fargo employees, and this is the result of all that.

Girls is the drive through seem great but branch manager seems to make up her own rules and regulations that are not practiced at other locations. Had to drive to a further Wells Fargo to deposit a check. I get dot your i's and cross your t's but come on. Check has the same name on check as account, there should be no problems with it not being endorsed and being "for deposit only".

By far the slowest Wells Fargo around. This one is closest to my work so I’ve been in a few times but I never spend less than 15 in line before being assisted. There was a man who cut me and another customer in line and the bank teller just mouthed that she was sorry. I had to leave and go to a different bank.

Bank needs to follow procedure and some promotions create confusion and I’ve been going to many banks in different countries so it’s understandable esp their rules and/ promotion change and not all staff knows.Nancy, who helped me was nice and helpful (at least for me- I read many negative reviews but really, it’s just typical bank).I do want to say about parking, RECOMMENDING to read this. It’s challenging to find parking if you don’t know where to go. I went around the block when finally find “Wells Fargo” sign and see “drive thru” asked her where to park. So if you come with vehicle, go to “Links Ave” & “first street”. It’s inside Sarasota City Center.Go in to the parking garage. Park in the 1st floor, “Wells Fargo customer only” and bring your ticket when you come in to the bank. They will give you sticker, (they pay for it). I went there three times this week so yes I don’t want to pay $10 parking fee on top of my gas money beside there is not a lot of street parking and you don’t know how long you will have to be there.

My first ever one start I’ve ever given.A simple change order takes 30 min.Unfortunately some of the lady’s that work at this branch have broken English. I go in twice a week for the same thing and the process changes every time. I’m sure they are qualified but maybe their training staff needs to step it up a bit. Change bags do not exist .

The customers in the drive through today were very unhappy with the branch manager. She was rude and would not accept a check deposit due to “new changes” and couldn’t explain why. Terrible service, needs a new and nicer branch manager please!

Been to the branch twice in 2 days to make a credit line draw. The bank as a whole is in such disarray that the employees can't even figure out how to get it done. They just dropped below BOA on my list

Was in for a "wasteoftimetramit", but Courtney (the manager) help and everything went smooth; ask for her: you'll get things done really quick.
