I've been a Wells Fargo customer for over 10 years and have visited the Fruitville Road branch in Sarasota numerous times, but Tina's exceptional service always makes me feel welcome! She has helped me on multiple occasions and remembers me by name, making our interactions feel like catching up with an old friend. Tina's warmth and expertise have made her my go-to contact at the branch. Her ability to efficiently address my banking needs, answer questions, and provide personalized advice has been invaluable.I look forward to my visits, knowing Tina will greet me with a smile and make my experience seamless. I am here now leaving immediatly!! 8/18/2023 2:55pm in a quick hurry as I walked in as a first time customer to open up a new account the first lady I greeted who was African American was the only one who seem like she was awake and ready to do her job and was friendly however her coworker who she was getting info about me opening up a new account seem out of it and sour looking, irritated, she yelled across the room to the rep in the office to see if they can see me and oh my goodnes what a nasty way she responded saying I have to wait she has someone coming at 3, it was so whinny and nasty sounding who wants to come and bring their money to people who don't want to be friendly in a simple greeting, I know it's hard to get good workers. But you should not have people who greet us who don't want to be there or help, was sooo horrible so beware!! I see they had other complaints on rudness, I had to walk out today really

As local guide I have always expressed my opinions to contribute and help others to know what to expect.As I read in more comments the customer service is one of the weaknesses of this branch. My husband went to this branch after work and stop by to ask about a wire transfer we need to do for more than the max per day. We can't do it online and he went to ask if they can help with the increasing of the limit so we can make the wire.He does not speak too much English and ask for some Assistant in Spanish. She was busy, he waited. Once she was available she did not even let my husband explain himself, just let him know "we close in 15 minutes so come back tomorrow for wire" [everything in spanish]she don't even let him explain she didn't want to help and just sent him back.Was so frustrating that even in your language she was not willing to listen or help the customer. 15 minutes are 15 minutes, I just made a full credit card application in the other branch in the same time. Please if you read this train better this lady in service and courtesy.

So after waiting on line because they diecised to have one person working . She tells me after waiting a while she can't help me and hopefully they can't take me if they have a n appt available. Simply want to change my name on my card since I was married but I very thing has to be harder than it needs to be . Achieva is so much better if you need a bank. I only use this bank to pay rent . For good reason.

Review In regards to Luis (personal/business banker) . I've been with Wells Fargo for over 15 years and currently have 16 accounts with them, called to make a wire transfer was 3 minutes late and Lewis called to tell me he had to cancel my appointment because he had another appointment coming at 9:30. I spoke with him at 9: 03. would have made it on time, but had to call a different branch due to Luis's unprofessionalism.. ridiculous that they put someone like him in a role without any customer service skills. No care about keeping clients.

Mr Anderson the new branch manager refused to help me regarding printing banking statements. As a manager I would hope he would have enough knowledge to know how far back you can access these statements which is a year. Also your statements do not get mailed to you nor emailed directly to you, you recieve an email that your statement is online. Which you have access only for a year. You also have a no fee account if you go online banking which is a product thoroughly pushed on every customer. You also do not offer a variety of mortgage products which would allow a consumer to utilize. So if you choose to not go through your bank just know this gentleman will charge you for every month. Wells fargo you just lost a 7 year high dollar customer due to Mr Anderson's inability to think logically to help a customer. He is brand new here I'm sure you will lose more business with his service tactics. Enjoy !

Although the staff is OK, my experiences here always seem to be negative. I already despise banks, though, so I'm certainly biased. The biggest issue that is specific to this branch, though, is the ATM. How it's possible that they don't have a drive through ATM is beyond me at this point. I don't feel safe getting out of my car & walking up to an outdoor ATM at night, so if I need to withdraw or deposit cash for some reason after dark, I either have to suck it up & hope I don't get robbed, or drive across town to the next closest one. Either way, it's ridiculous that they don't have a drive through ATM at this point.
