“I brought my daughter to the Seminole Quest for her first blood draw and had the worst experience we have ever had for a blood draw. When the technician called her name, no one in the waiting room could understand who the technician was calling so another patient asked her to repeat herself. She irritatingly repeated my daughter’s name. When we got into the room, she barely spoke and seemed extremely irritated. When she asked my daughter which arm, my daughter gave her her right arm. We had stated that my daughter has never had a blood draw, and she did not even bother to look at her both arms to figure out which one would be better. I asked if she would be using a pediatric needle and she irritatedly responded “yes.” She inserted the needle into my daughter’s arm and did not find her vein. I have very tricky veins as well and usually the technician will gently try to find the vein. There was nothing gentle about how she was moving the needle within my daughter‘s arm to find her vein. In addition to being overly forceful, she proceeded to blame my daughter for not drinking enough water. My daughter thought she drank enough water for the morning but even if the technician thought it wasn’t enough, it is unacceptable for an adult to berate a child while digging a needle into that child’s arm. What she did would make an adult break down. I told the technician to take the needle out and that we were done. She did not say anything as she yanked the needle out and turned away from us. I had to ask for our paperwork back and even then she said nothing more. The way she was handling the needle in my daughter‘s arm would be unacceptable on an adult, on a child it was obscenely disgusting. I come to this Quest location often and have never experienced anything like this. I would warn everyone that if they see her, they should refuse to have her come anywhere near them. I spoke to two Quest employees on my way out but knew that I was way too hothead to have a full conversation about the incident at that moment. She was rude from the moment she called my daughters name and I wish I would have put my foot down in that moment. I have never left a negative review but to not do it for this incident would be to leave her to do this to another person. My daughter was I shock and broke down in the car asking if this is how blood draws usually go. I understand people have bad days and may not always be able to leave their issues at the door when going into work. With that being said, how that technician acted was beyond unacceptable, unexcused, and shameful.”

“You have made it so easy to go online and create an appointment. Parking is fast and less than a 5 min walk to the counter on the second floor. My wait once i was asked to take a seat was less than 3 min. Friendly service both at the desk and you lady that took my sample.
The lady that took my sample knew what she was doing, not only fast and pleasant, i could hardly feel the needle going in. I love that.”

“Generally efficient, staff was pleasant, but not given to small talk. The technician who did my Vienna puncture was unable to smile or make me feel that I was important to her success. I was made more to feel like I was in the way of her going home. Convenient location. I will come back. They get the job done. Just don’t expect human warmth.”

“Lab tech was very, very good. A little confusion about getting my blood work done from upstairs to downstairs. Because I'm on chemotherapy, but not infusions. As soon as they get their system figured out, I think it'll be a good system.”

We were able to get in about 10 minutes later rather than wait until our appointment time. The only negative was that the receptionist was rather brief in her response making it unclear whether we would need to wait until 11.”

First tech could not find it so she had the other tech take a look and they were able to get her blood when no one else could. We will be back to this location.”

“As someone with needle anxiety, and a vasovagal response (can pass out and have seizure like activity) - this place (more specifically Michaela) was a godsend.

I typically go to a different quest that’s closer to my house, but this one had an interesting airliner available appointment, so I figured I would try it out.

My appointment was at 9:50 and I was walking back to my room at 9:55 after checking in - so fast! Everything was so fast and everything from the lobby to the back rooms were very clean (not all quests are like this).

The person taking my blood was Michaela - and honestly she was wonderful. She was kind, respectful, listened to my needs, was patient, and listened to me while I ramble on to distract myself while she drew my blood. Not only was she excellent at inserting the needle on the first try, she also was able to pull my it very quickly. It was over before I knew it.

Afterwards, we chatted for a few minutes while I took my time to get back up to ensure I wasn’t going to be nauseous or pass out.

She genuinely is so good at what she does. I don’t think I’ve got a blood draw in the last 10 years that was so fast and efficient. 🫣 She was kind from the moment that I walked in the door and I’m really grateful for her.

It made my experience so much better and I’ll definitely be back.”

“I’ve used Quest at multiple locations and it’s always clean and super efficient! I never wait long with an appointment and that’s a HUGE plus! Making an appointment and check in is always easy. Oh, and the staff always knows how to prick an arm, can’t always say that about One Blood.”

“The manager here has more respect for herself and other patients than anyone I’ve ever seen. A woman began cursing loudly and causing a problem and the manager didn’t hesitate to stand up for herself. She informed the patient that if she could not stop cursing and yelling she would have to leave the premises and seek services elsewhere.
