“My family has been doing business with John's Appliance city for 2 decades now. My wife and I recently bought all of our kitchen appliances with John's and were very impressed by the customer service. There were a couple insignificant issues after install and it was very easy to call and speak to an actual person to arrange for a technician to come out promptly and address the problem.
After Hurricane Ian, my parents house unfortunately flooded. Before power had even come back on someone from John's came out to assess the damage and see what would need to be replaced to expedite my parents needs.
We also recently purchased a new washer and dryer. Unfortunately my uncle stood on the top of the dryer and bent in the metal. Johns ordered us a replacement top for the dryer and installed it FOR FREE. Hard to believe. Just good, understanding people.
These are the benefits of buying from a locally owned and operated business that cares about the community. If we had bought from Home Depot or Lowes then it would have been a huge hassle every time we had an issue. Being able to call and speak to a person to have a problem solved is a rare luxury these days.
Cannot recommend John's enough and we will continue to do business with them.

“I walked into the Daytona Beach Florida store today, knowing pretty much what I was looking for. I was greeted by Robert Rodriguez, who listened to me and only show me what fit what I was looking for. In under an a 1/2 an hour, I was able to find seating for my living room, 4 barstools and a coffee table and end tables. In under an hour, I was out the door with delivery scheduled. I can’t say enough about how professional, courteous, and how helpful Robert Rodriguez was. I swear to find somebody who listens to you and value your time as he did. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back for other furniture needs or recommend any of my friends.”

I made a detailed template bow and aft. The result was outstanding there staff took the time to explain and show the type of mattresses they could custom make. “My husband and I have been to every single furniture store in Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, and Casselberry. We went into Haynes to look for a new living room set. We were greeted by Linda an associate at Haynes Brothers Furniture in Ormond Beach. Linda is friendly and very knowledgeable about everything. She was patient with all of our questions. She helped to pick out fabric which turned out to be fun! The covid19 put a temporary delay on receiving our new furniture but that's ok. Great store, great people, great experience. Wish we had found this store sooner. Highly recommended! A+++”

“I was in Daytona for one week to shop and have furniture delivered. The salesperson spent over an hour with me and helped me make a few hard decisions. The delivery guys were friendly and careful with the furniture. There was one issue with 2 furniture items that did not match. I went back to the store and talked with the person who I presume is the manager. He arranged for delivery and replacement of the mismatched items. I had a very good experience shopping at Downtown Used Furniture. Also, I have purchased from them in the past with no problems.”
