“I live nearby and finally stopped in to check out Lifestyle Catering, and I’m so glad I did! The chicken vaca frita was delicious, and the turkey meatballs were just as good. Portions are generous, and I really appreciate that the containers list the ingredients and calories. I tried the sweet potatoes and baked sweet plantains on the side, and both were amazing. The place is spotless, and I enjoyed meeting the owner. This will definitely be my go-to spot for healthy meals!”

“Sprouts Farmers Market has become one of my favorite little finds. I was introduced to their chicken salad sandwich a few months ago & now I craveeew it all the time. They make it perfectly every single visit and it is only around $5/6, which feels like such a steal. The store itself has great products and their app is worth downloading because the sales are nonstop. Linda & Remy helped me the last time I was there & gave me so many helpful shopping tips. “The staff are helpful and friendly, and the products are high quality and ethically sourced, but there are some challenges to keep in mind for customers coming from further away.
I have been going to Verde South Miami for at least a couple of years now, and among the refillable products I have bought are the liquid dish detergent, soap bars, dental floss, sometimes dry nuts, seeds or baking ingredients, and organic toilet paper. My favorite product is the organic clear liquid shampoos. Until this month, I have not had any issues with coming in the following week to refill on shampoo. Be advised to call ahead on certain desired products to see whether they are in stock.
There is also a point rewards system via Cash App, but in my experience it has not added up to much. With how infrequently I am able to come, I often can't use the points I accrue before they expire. A lot of points need to collect before getting $1 off on any purchase. The main challenge is the commute; because I live further south, I have to already have plans in the area or come by on a return commute from work to make it worth the extra gas.
If/when the means arise, please open an extension in Homestead or Cutler Bay. There is a real need for a zero waste store down here!”
