“I recently toured the Old Davie School Museum, and it was an absolute highlight. As someone with a background in investigative work and a keen eye for detail, I was thoroughly impressed by how meticulously this 1918 building has been preserved.
The tour guide was incredibly informative, providing a vivid narrative of the pioneers who settled the 'Zona' area. Their knowledge turned what could have been a simple walkthrough into a deep-dive into the agricultural and social history of Broward County. Sitting in the restored 1920s classroom—complete with the original inkwells and creaking pine floors—offered a profound sense of nostalgia.
The entire campus is beautifully kept. From the 1909 Pioneer Home to the authentic Seminole Chickee Hut, every structure feels alive with history rather than just a static exhibit. The staff’s dedication to preserving our heritage is evident in every corner of the property.”

I hosted a baby shower at C & G Event and was just blown away with the amazing customer service, great deals, beautiful ? set up for my event! I felt like I was walking into heaven! The staff there are go above and beyond and pour their whole heart and soul into making your event just what you want it to be perfect! In an industry where there are many out there just to make money, C & G were so honest and always reachable which was so refreshing! Why go anywhere else? I cant wait for my next event there!! ? We had the most amazing experience celebrating my daughter Cailyn’s quinceañera at Floridian Ballrooms! From the very beginning, Ceci and Leti in the office were wonderful to work with — so professional and attentive. The upstairs team, Mari and Adriana, made sure every detail was perfect.
During the party, Luis (manager), Frank (MC), Edwin (DJ), and Isabella (photo booth) went above and beyond to make the night unforgettable. Everyone was kind, organized, and full of energy!
The food was incredible — we had the boliche and the salmon, and our guests loved both dishes. Everything exceeded our expectations.

Our experience this time was even better than the first time and frankly, it was pretty perfect the first time. “The catering manager and his team are absolutely wonderful! Chef Micheal with Fine foods catering takes care to make sure his meals are absolutely delicious and is very willing to work with you on anything your event needs. its not easy catering for 250 people and he did it flawlessly. I very much look forward to working with him again in the future.
The facility itself is nice, though we did have some trouble working with the event manager and the director of the club.”

“This place is the best Ice Rink ever! I was playing Hockey here at pines and didn’t feel good after and felt very dehydrated and dizzy, the management here is 5 star the best! Mike P the Manager here had me sit down and got me a Gatorade and made sure I was able to walk and drive home before leaving the rink, Mike And his staff are the best! The staff here is always amazing towards my family! They make us feel loved here! Better than any other ice rink around Florida! I’m leaving this review so people understand that the people who work here don’t treat people like Costumers, they treat everyone like Clients and Friends and Family! Thank you Pines Ice and thank you Mike and Staff at Pines Ice Arena!”

“We did our Christmas Party for our church at this Hotel and it was amazing. Their service, kindness, commodities and amenities were excellent, besides very clean and nice rooms.
Food was incredibly good and flavorful. The banquet was beautiful and the staff eh served us (Mercedes, Nancy, Rita, Suldeny, Lean and Daniel) were great.

“It's just the greatest place I've celebrated my son's birthday so far.
This place doesn't have a minimum #of kids required, so it was so easy to customize based on that and not a minimum $$$ party package
The price per child is affordable and you get options too based on your budget. We felt like our money was worth it with this system, it includes refillable food and soft drinks for the kids only for that price so the kids could eat as much as they wanted. The server and all the staff were always making sure everything was good and we were being assisted at their best. The kids had a blast! Their faces say it all, we'll definitely come back and recommend it to our friends and family!”

“Such an unexpected surprise!!! We didn't pay much so we weren't expecting much and ended up being very happy here. We got a good deal with Amtrak so we needed an inexpensive place to stay 2 nights before our Holland America cruise. There's 5 of us so booking double bed rooms is always tricky. Our room had a kitchenette (full fridge, stove, cups, plates, bowls, utensils!!) very spacious living room area plus TV in both the living room and bedroom. The first night we were feeling a little brave after the long train ride so instead of going to the nearby restaurants, we walked about half a mile to a Mexican restaurant Ole Ole which was delicious. Target and Aldi located at that mini mall area also. The next day we Uber to Sawgrass Mills then another Uber to the Fort Lauderdale beach. The pricing on this hotel is excellent I believe because it's a little farther out from Fort Lauderdale but still very worth it. It's not in the middle of the city so it's more quiet around Plantation and very peaceful. If we can't find a good priced hotel like this one closer to the cruise port next time, we definitely plan to stay here again. I am sending big shoutouts to some excellent workers that made our experience at this hotel more enjoyable: Rochelle, the night time front desk check-in lady was very helpful, attentive and accommodating. She had glitter eyeshadow and beautifully decorated long nails, my daughters loved her. Tasha and Antonia, the daytime front desk check ladies were both very friendly and sweet. Another huge shout out to Shanti the food breakfast lady, your free breakfast setup was superb, thank you!!! Oh and free laundry, did I mention that?! Awesome!!! I was up late doing laundry and I didn't catch the nighttime cleaning guy's name but he said he was from the Bahamas and he was hard at work keeping the place clean for the next day. Definitely recommend this hotel for any families looking for a good peaceful hotel stay before your cruise. Thanks again to the whole staff here!!! ❤️”

“I rented this venue because my friend had her son birthday party here a few years ago pre covid and decided to go with them & I’m glad I did ! The venue was very up kept and clean . Solaris grander was very responsive and answered any questions I may have had. I’ll definitely recommend this venue to family friends. We also received our deposit back without any issues ( I had to mention that because I saw a few reviews were people did not) As long as you follow directions you won’t have any issues with receiving it.”
