“Must visit when in St. Augustine. He is a passionate story teller through his photographs and they are inspiring and powerful. He also has a stunning series of magnolia pictures that are simply beautiful.”
“Omg I was pleasantly greeted by Alex who was so knowledgeable and honest. He appraised my piece while ensuring I understood what a masterpiece I had (I was clueless) in an hour I learned so much from him. His knowledge base should be emulated. What an asset. Thanks Lost Art Gallery, you'll NEVER BE LOST WITH ALEX RUNNING THE SHOW. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!!”
“This was my favorite gallery and gift shop in St. Augustine. We were visiting during the first Friday artwalk and somehow managed to miss this gallery but fortunately found it on Sunday. They have a great collection of artists including a glass artist who creates hand blown jellyfish pendant light fixtures. There is also an artist who combines very detailed mosaic and stained glass designs in an architectural window panel. There are several 2D artists as well as beautiful local jewelry. This gallery is a must visit for me every time I visit. The lady who was working on Sunday was delightful and very helpful.”
“Went looking for local art to have memories of our Christmas trip and vacation in St Augustine. Wonderful shop and lady helping us (owner of shop we assume) was super nice and helpful. We left with several pieces that will preserve our special memories for years to come. Really glad we found this place !!”
“High Tide Gallery is my favorite art gallery in Saint Augustine! You will find beautiful, one of a kind and unique art, jewelry, stone, wood, paintings, the list goes on. All art is creates by local artists. Wayne the owner is just super and has a great sense of humor! Shop local. Shop High Tide!”
“Great local art and staffed by the artists! Definitely worth a visit. Wide range of options painting jewelry woodworking pottery and glass. A must stop in St. Augustine!”
“I am so glad I Came across this shop in St Augustine Florida. The selection of Sterling Silver Jewelry this shop has in stock is to die for. If your looking for a Piece of Sterling Silver Jewelry with a specific gemstone set in it or some Symbol made of Sterling Silver this Shop has it. She is also one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met about Gemstones, Minerals and different Rocks found in Mother Earth. If your Looking for it. Look Here. Really Good people running this Place. I have no doubt you will be taken care of and not disappointed.”
“Excellent experience every time. Michael helped find the most complementary frames for the artwork in our home. Even with ordering the material the turnaround time was wonderful. I highly recommend!”
“it’s hard to walk away from this place and NOT love it! the concept alone is so cool. there are about twenty microscopes set up and they each contain a work of art that you can only view through the microscope. some were little ships, elephants, actually art-esque pieces with frames, included. i’d suggest doing the room in about three goes, as trying to complete it in one go might give you eye strain. there’s other things to look at, such as old microscopes.”
“I had acquired a piece of art from a family friend who passed away. I had no information on the artist, its origin, its popularity, value, etc. I sent Alex a photo of the art and within an hour, Alex provided me a complete list to include the artist, the title, the medium, the printer, and a detailed synopsis of the artwork and artist. To say I was throughly impressed with Alex’s prompt response and knowledge would be an understatement. Thanks again, Alex!”
“This store was so unique to go to. It's located in the historic district of Saint Augustine. First time I went I got a cool book from there. Second time, a few days after to get myself a bracelet. I'm not from the area so this was my first time here to St.Augustine. If you love sea glass, you'll love this place. :)”
“On our first visit we were greeted by Joe who was exceedingly helpful -- in addition to being a very pleasant fellow. During that visit I admired the photography done by his wife. He had printed it on canvas -- beautiful work. He even showed me his printer -- a monster of a machine that can print up to 44" on one side and much longer on the other. I asked Joe if he would print some of my digital photos and he agreed. We picked up three last week that he had printed on canvas and mounted on wood stretchers. Beautiful workmanship. If there were any imperfections in the items delivered to me it was my work, not theirs! It was a real pleasure dealing with nice folks who do great work at a fair price. I'd give 'em six stars if I could. [Incidentally, Yelp shows their opening time to be 11:00. We found they open earlier -- maybe 09:30 or so. I mention this because parking in StAug is a nightmare and one CAN find a spot before 10:00 when the City begins charging outrageous fees for the few spaces available. Go early!]”
“A great place to check out when visiting St Augustine. There is no charge to come in and see all of the local art pieces, donations are accepted. Contemporary and timely art pieces and, during this time, some wonderful works of art from local middle school students.”
“What a unique gallery. We loved walking around and seeing all the beautiful art. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Appreciated all the different artists!”
“I received my order and was pleasantly surprised at how well it was packaged protecting my purchase! Even better, my purchase was gift-wrapped - what a delight! Their pieces are so beautiful so don't hesitate to order!”
“We are so lucky to have so many small galleries in StA and this is one of my favorites. Always knowledgeable artists running the place! Plus, I always have to go in December and buy angels.
Spoiler alert, my second favorite is Plum Gallery.”

“The energy of this place is so welcoming and positive. They have a huge selection of reasonably priced jewelry, crystals, and clothes. I highly recommend paying them a visit!”
“Ms. Bonnie was so charming, and helpful. She is beautiful inside and out. My daughter and I loved having a conversation with her. The items in the store are beautiful and unique. We returned to get more ?”
“This Gallery is amazing and full of local Artists that do all their own creative works. So many beautiful paintings and sculptures and some sculptural wall hangings as well. I was there on a First Friday Art walk and had some wine and chatted with the local artists who were all so informative about their stories on life and adventures of being an artist. I bought a piece from two Artists and one was for my mom a d she was so happy. You have to check this Gallery out right off King Street! There are other surrounding Galleries as well and connected right next door is Butterfield Art Gallery which is also a Co-op. I could stay between the two all night and enjoy the music and conversations.”
“Incredible experience. I happened upon actual Salvador Dali work in the back portion for the gallery. Photography is not allowed, but still.. I was grateful the curator let me look for a good minute. Did not expect that while I was gallery hopping around downtown. Made my month. Other prices were amazing as well. Also some great Dr Seuss pieces are on display :).”
“I never leave reviews but this was one of the best buying experiences of my life so I wanted to let people know. This place was absolutely incredible! Firstly, the art for sale is stunning. I knew I was going to buy something within two minutes of entering the gallery and I ended up buying I think six or seven pieces. Most importantly, Russell was one of the kindest and most passionate people in regards to art I’ve ever met. You could really tell the love he had for the gallery made it a great one and he helped my girlfriend and I with all of our questions and to view pieces. We made our purchase and told him we would be back in a couple of day’s to pick the art up because we were sightseeing. Work took us out of St. Augustine earlier than expected and so we were unable to pick up the pieces. We called Russell and told him this and he went out of his way to ship everything for us. He went to UPS not once but twice (the first time to see how he could get the best shipping price for us) and I will receive my pieces in the mail by tomorrow. I can’t wait to hang this beautiful art on my wall. Thanks so much Russell, can’t wait to come back next time I’m in town!Stop in and get something here. You won’t regret it!”
“The most amazing time in this gallery. I brought my friends here over the weekend and we were in awe with all of the collections they have. (Dali and Picasso especially). The staff was very kind, professional, and informative about the history of the artists. I never have made a review for a gallery before, but this is a MUST-SEE when visiting St. Augustine (especially for art lovers!).”
“Grand Bohemian has a collection of not just paintings, but other unique items of interest. I purchased a pair of replica Bridge of Lions statutes made of pure Carrera marble. I absolutely love them. It was a great experience shopping at this lovely gallery which is part of the Casa Monica hotel.”
“Best gallery in town! They feature a large spread of artists and styles, and they have super fun events very regularly. Also, Alyssa's the best art consultant ever!”
