Casablanca Inn On The Bay offers a mixed experience for guests, with its prime location in St. Augustine being a significant highlight. The hotel features a lively martini bar and provides a decent breakfast, both enjoyed by visitors. However, the accommodations vary in quality. Some guests noted cleanliness issues, such as dust under beds and mildew odors, while others mentioned that bathrooms need updates. Room maintenance is also a concern, with reports of peeling paint and non-functioning fireplaces. While the reception staff is friendly and helpful, the lobby area is described as unimpressive. The parking situation can be complicated, requiring validation stickers for guests, and the parking area itself is a dirt road. Some rooms experience noise from the nearby bar and restaurant, which can disrupt peace, particularly in certain rooms that are less desirable. Overall, while Casablanca Inn On The Bay has potential with its charming location and amenities, improvements in room maintenance, cleanliness, and noise control are necessary to enhance the guest experience. Many guests expressed a willingness to return if they could choose better rooms.
Hotel was dated and quarters are tight. Parking is free a couple blocks away but I didnt mind the short walk. Staff was VERY friendly and accommodating.

Hotel has a lot of potential. However right now room smelled like mildew, paint was starting to peel on the walls in places the fireplace in the room didn't work and the furniture was just a little too big for the size of the room. But like I said little tlc and could easily be 5 star
