“I was there with my family and our Newfoundlands this past Thursday-Sunday and was very happy with my stay! We were there with the Newfoundland Club of Florida for our annual meeting and club participation in the Christmas Parade and it went so smoothly! The new owner is very nice and treated everyone in our club very kindly! Would 100% stay here again next year. Bonus that there's a coffee shop and dessert shop within walking distance! Great weekend!”
“My only complaint was that we couldn't stay a second night, because we had to get home to let my family member free of our four children. 😂
They had parking. And it's close enough to walk all around downtown St. Augustine but it's far enough away that at night it's actually quiet even on a Saturday. The bed was so soft. The room was gorgeous. Had a tub shower which to me is important. I don't know why but it bugs me if there's not a tub. The food was amazing. They had coffee and tea on demand. They had ice water and lemonade and sweet tea in the fridge that you could get as you wanted. And Haley who checked us in bakes and she made brownies and oh my God they were so good. She says next time we come she's going to make lemon cake. I'm about to make up a holiday so we can go again.
* I almost forgot. Apparently when you book through like the trip advisor and all those things it actually cost them more or they don't make as much or something I'm not sure but next time we're going to book directly through them.”

“We had a wonderful visit to Voco. Quiet location. Good food and drink in walking distance. Close walk to historic area. Amenities were great! Kate at the front desk was SO helpful and kind, giving recommendations and tips! Will stay again. Highly recommend!”
“We just wrapped up a Wednesday to Friday stay at The Collector Inn in St. Augustine for our 4th wedding anniversary, and it delivered exactly what a trip like that should. Calm. Beautiful. Thoughtfully done without trying too hard.
The property feels like a hidden village. You walk in and it immediately slows you down. Brick pathways. Lush greenery everywhere. Quiet corners where you can sit with a drink and forget your phone exists for a minute. Not something most places manage anymore.
The staff handled everything right.
* Friendly without hovering
* Quick when you need something
* Genuinely welcoming instead of scripted
That alone puts them ahead of half the places charging the same rates.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the real value is outside your door.
* Courtyards that feel private
* Fire pit areas that actually get used
* Pool setup that feels relaxed, not crowded or chaotic
You’re right in the heart of St. Augustine, but somehow it still feels tucked away. That balance is hard to pull off. They nailed it.
The town itself did the rest. Easy walks, great food, drinks everywhere you turn. Exactly what you want for a short anniversary escape without overplanning every hour.
If you want loud, crowded, and “look at me” energy, go somewhere else.
If you want a place that feels intentional, quiet, and actually enjoyable, this is it.
We came to celebrate 4 years.
We left already planning the next trip back.”

“Super location, clean and comfortable rooms and an amazing staff combine to make this a great place to stay while visiting St. Augustine. I also need to mention Julie who works at the front desk - she's personable, diligent and understands what is important to her customers. A great representative for her company.”
“Very clean, lovely area and I felt safe bar hopping and coming back to pass out. I definitely will return as I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and wished I knew of it sooner. Staff was kind and polite, could not complain about anything what so ever as it exceeded expectations.”

“Casa Monica is in a great location in downtown St. Augustine. The service was great, from the valet to the restaurant/bar. Thank you to Jake, Matt and Yarrick for all of your help in valet during our stay. Rona and Molly in the bar were also super accommodating and helpful. Can’t wait to come back soon.”
“We had an amazing stay at Embassy Hotel & Suites! The amenities were absolutely fabulous, especially the pool area, which had a great bar with friendly bartenders and delicious cocktails. The watermelon mule was amazing! The hotel is also just steps away from the beach, which made the location incredibly convenient.
One of our favorite perks was the complimentary cocktail hour from 5:00–6:30 PM, along with the complimentary breakfast, which was honestly one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever seen. There was such a great variety of options, and it was a wonderful way to start each morning. Having a Starbucks downstairs was also a huge bonus!
Our rooms were very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Our only major complaint was that the first bed we slept in was extremely uncomfortable, and the mattress had springs popping out. However, the staff was wonderful about accommodating us and moved us to another room with a much better bed, which we really appreciated.
The only other disappointing part of our stay was the lack of communication when making our reservation. When you call Embassy to book, you are connected to a call center rather than someone directly on property. We specifically requested a king suite with a balcony, but that request was not entered correctly. That said, the staff at the hotel itself was incredibly nice and accommodating, and they did their best to make our stay enjoyable.
Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely come back in a heartbeat! The location, amenities, complimentary cocktail hour, incredible breakfast, pool, beach access, and wonderful staff make this a hotel I would definitely recommend.”
“We had a great time, enjoyed the views, the happy hour and the beach access. I was surprised with how many families and little kids were running around but could still find a nice quiet beach spot.”
“To get a voucher for the Martini's and breakfast you have to book directly though the hotel, no outside services. Check prices through them first before checking 3rd party booking.”

“Rooms are clean but parking becomes very difficult because a “vintage car business”operates on the premises and parks its vehicles in the hotel's lot, leaving guests without sufficient parking spaces.”

“Virginia made our trip!! Her and Lloyd deserve so much love!! She was very sweet, helpful, even road downtown with My GF and Lloyd to give us a little history tour for free while they dropped us off!! We normally stay at Bayfront but it was $300+ more and No Hot Tub!!! I am a Best Western Member and St. Augustine is our favorite place and where we plan on getting married!! Thank you so much!!”
“When Booking this I’m going to be honest the reviews were not great. But do to last minute plans I picked up the phone and called. I was greated by a Hello. No Good afternoon this is the inn at Charlotte. But I was talking to a very informative person. I told her my needs and was giving all information. I arrived at 10 pm and do to traffic. they leave at 6pm. I was able to check in via!! Keep in mind these are a 3 star hotel not a 5 star. The building is very old but is in great shape. My fiancé absolutely loved it. She loves old rustic charm! History and rustic is her thing. The location is 1000 STARS. The fire works where amazing you could see them from the porch. We had a situation and they addressed it within minutes!! If you require a front desk person this place is not for you. They own a few of these inns and bed and breakfasts. They remind me more like an air b&b we don’t require any services for us it was amazing!
Let’s talk about the bed…..I tried to stay in it as much as possible it was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Super clean bed the rooms smell great. Aside from that old house smell that my fiancé loved. Our room had a jacuzzi tub in it. Shower was great. There is a very small mirror in the bathroom. Not on the wall but on the self. But the room has two mirrors in it!! We were in and out on the weekend of July 4th the inn was fully booked we didn’t run into many guests. We didn’t eat breakfast at all but there was a diner around the corner right on the bay!!!!! They also had a very nice bar within the INN but there wasn’t any staff there but it was super cute. Door were shut while we were there!
They are a 3 star hotel and in my opinion of always staying at 5 star accommodation they did everything that we needed. I went for a rustic stay and in my opinion we got that in room number 6. It was located in the main house on the first floor it was a suite it had great space and easy access in and out of the Inn”

“Definitely ascetically the nicest Hampton I have stayed in. The $20 parking fee for an open lot not that close to historic downtown is a bit much. Feels a bit like a money grab for a hotel that’s already pretty pricey. Other than that it’s your standard Hampton, comfortable beds, clean, decent free breakfast, just a little higher end feeling.”

“It was a typical hotel room with a very basic breakfast. There were a few things that could have been cleaner in the room, such as the vents and the faucet. Beds were fairly comfortable. I Appreciated having access to a refrigerator. It is more like a motel with each single room opening up into a common area and smoking is allowed. I was right by the door to the main building and people would leave their cigarettes still lit in a container and it was very annoying. But the location was fabulous for going to the blind and deaf school, which is where I had a conference.”
“Beautiful location I wish there was also an indoor pool. The girl at the desk in the morning was very kind and helpful she sent the Maintenance to our room immediately to fix the tv. They made sure we also had clean towels without us asking.”
“Wonderful location, breakfast and most importantly service! Everyone was friendly and helpful during our entire stay. Loved location, convenient location to beach, Publix, restaurants and downtown! Indoor pool was a bonus!”
