Gerber was incredible from start to finish I was rear ended and from the moment I walked in their door I was treated so kind. Miss Robin was fantastic, getting a rental so convenient from there and timewise. It couldn’t have been faster. I honestly thought it would take much longer than it did, but they kept me informed every step of the way.within a week my car was ready to pick up and it looked brand new not just the repairs, but the whole car was so shiny and clean lookingif you’re looking for auto body repair, look no further than Gerber their service is the best., I went to the one on SR 16 in St Augustine it was so close to me, which made it even better.Thank you to all who worked on my car and miss Robin for keeping me calm and informed every step of the way !!!

I had an excellent and professional service from the front desk (Robin) all the way up to the manager (Mr. Brandon) after I brought my daughter's 2017 Honda pilot for a body repair. They are a group of friendly staff in the office always ready to help. I'm very happy with the work done to the car

Nightmare! Absolutely a nightmare, since almost day 1 with Gerber Collision. My vehicle was towed to a Jacksonville location but requested to be moved to St Augustine due to light loading. I communicated with a Jess or JB in regards to my repairs and informed her that I needed the replacement of paint protection film included in the estimate for insurance purposes. She assured me that they would include this. It took over a week from tow delivery until an estimate was completed and submitted to my insurance company. After nearly 3 weeks the work began and was reported by JB to be on track. The total repair timeProvided was approximately 6 weeks. Days before pickup, even being confirmed by Jess as being on track, I was informed a part was still needed and backordered with no ETA. I called and received more information after escalating to the managers level. Brendan, the location manager, informed me that a “shutter assembly” was backordered and unavailable. He assured me they tried various means to acquire the part but that it would likely be weeks or possibly months due to parts shortage. After explaining the situation he looked into the updates provided by JB and apologized recognizing the failure in communication. He stated he would be writing her up and handling my repairs going forward. I asked for details and part numbers and contact online and the local BMW dealership which had the part available within 24 hrs. I informed Brendan this and he assured me he would recheck but stated they still were unable to order it. I had to order the part myself and drive an hour to deliver it direct to the shop to continue repairs. After further issue and explaining the situation, Brendan elevated the issue and recognized the failure of their team, by providing contact with the regional manager, Anthony D. Anthony assured me things would be corrected and the paint film and cost of the part would be reimbursed. Even after receipt the repair shop stated they were missing more and more parts and needed more time. Ultimately the vehicle was towed to BMW for calibration and then back for QA. I received the vehicle back after nearly 3 months. The QA missed numerous issues including missing emblems, and paint drips. I picked up the vehicle and informed them of the issues and they said they would mail me the emblem to apply myself. Further, I questioned about the reimbursement checks I was owed for the paint protection film and paid for. My insurance company had already paid Gerber but I had yet to receive the funds. It took over a month and numerous calls back to the regional manager and corporate to finally get paid. They stated they hadn’t submitted everything needed by corporate.Gerber Collision is a complete nightmare and chaos. The team at this location and in general lack costumer support, knowledge, and the ability to resolve small issues such as parts acquisition. A customer should not be expected to provide their own parts when readily available. Gerber Collision and its management teams at the shop and regional level continued to lie and fail to meet the expectations of even mediocre customer care. The manager in fact blamed it on JB and “not being able to find good help.” Sadly the above is just a recap of all the issues and doesn’t include all the issues dealt with.Avoid Gerber Collision!!!

Disappointed in. customer service and lack of communication.No one picks up the phone and it goes to the national center and no call back. Car delivered two days later than anticipated. Poor communication . Front office said they were short staffed and overwhelmed. car was transported to Jacksonville to get work done.Services: Painting

I have used this location in the past and was pleased with the results, so I went here first for an estimate on my son's car that got rear ended. Pretty minor repair and when I went in on Friday for an estimate I made it crystal clear that we would be paying cash and NOT running through insurance. They sent the quote over Monday morning and when I asked how long it would take to get us in they said they will not take us a customer because we are not using insurance.Services: Painting

The repairs were done pretty well, as this was a pretty major hit as you can see from the picture. Based on my observations, the repair quality is very good. The clean up was pretty poor. There was body dust in all of the door, trunk and hood jams, and still glass pieces under the passenger seat that I vacuumed out. Also, there were some scratches on the rear bumper corner where it appears to have been set on the ground. I was able to rub most of them out, but there is one scratch that is pretty deep and about 1" long that is still very visible. I sent them a picture through text of this less than an hour from picking the car up, but did not receive any response. Honestly I just do not want to go through the hassle of taking it back and dealing with another repair, so I will probably just live with it.Services: Body & Trim

Save yourself a lot of headache and do NOT take your car to this facility! My insurance company recommended them and it has been hell trying to get my car back ever since! They received my car in September. I was told my car would be finished on October 21, and now we're in December and they still have no idea when my car is going to be finished. In the meantime, they leave it parked outside, which is something I never do as I always have a parked in the garage. They even left it sitting outside during a hurricane.

My new car was recently struck by a rogue piece of tractor trailer tire while driving on the highway. Needless to say I was devastated! I took my car to Gerber and they completed the work so quickly and efficiently, I am beyond impressed! My car looks brand new. I highly recommend this company and their services. Ms Robin at the front desk, you are so kind! Fantastic experience!
