Guy Harvey Resort St. Augustine Beach offers a great location directly on the beach with excellent views and easy beach access. The staff is consistently described as friendly and providing great service. The facility is generally considered clean, with daily room cleaning noted. Rooms are comfortable and basic, equipped with essentials like a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and TV. The resort is pet friendly, which many guests loved, though some noted a strong unpleasant smell in non-beachfront areas and concerns for those with allergies. Amenities include a restaurant with very good food, a pool bar, live music, a heated pool, a 24/7 gym, free washer and dryer, a gift shop, and great parking. Some downsides include noise from vents and between rooms, internet described as bad, blinds that don't block light well, and a pool that some feel could be cleaner or larger. The restaurant can be expensive with no included breakfast option, and the elevators can be a minor challenge. While the beach has lifeguards and chairs for rent, some guests observed lax security regarding the pool. Overall, it is considered a great place to stay with an excellent price for the location and amenities, though the pet policy and some noise issues are points for potential guests to consider.
First time staying here. The location is great. A little bit of everything. Restaurant, live music, free washer and dryer, 24/7 gym, gift shop, snack/drink tent. Pet friendly. A lot of parking. Vending machine.
