Southern Wind Inn

Southern Wind Inn offers a charming and comfortable stay in a historic house built in 1900. The rooms are nice, clean, and well laid-out, with very comfortable beds and high-quality linens. Bathrooms are generously stocked with toiletries. The hosts are very kind, gracious, welcoming, and accommodating, often going out of their way to help guests. The breakfast served each morning is amazing, legit, and good. The location is perfect and as good as it gets, within very convenient walking distance to the historic district and all downtown locations, allowing guests to walk everywhere. Some guests note that parking on the premises is a squeeze and tight, requiring careful driving for mid-sized sedans or larger; a parking pass for a lot across the street is sometimes available. The historic character means walls can be somewhat thin, allowing some street noise to be heard. Overall, however, it provides an absolutely wonderful experience in a charming old house bed & breakfast, highly recommended for a great stay. Many guests plan to return.
