“We did a date night class with Kim and it was absolutely wonderful! She’s a great instructor and keeps the class light even when the work isn’t turning out quite as you’d like it to. We’re excited to see how our pieces turn out after the kiln!”
“What a pleasant place, lovely atmosphere and Jamie Edward's was very knowledgeable and sharing. Fun and relaxing. I'll be doing more for sure :) I learned so much in 1 hour of resin class.”
“Absolutely amazing shop, with the best prices & great selection & if he doesn't have it he'll get it soon. Best prices on the best spray paint.”
“We had so much fun making our own wine glasses with Austin! He was amazing and guided us through all the steps for our first time glass blowing… studio and gallery are amazing… definitely worth a visit!!”
“Studio 620 is an amazing venue in the heart of downtown St. Pete where artists of all genres are able to perform and freely express themselves. The atmosphere is intimate and inviting and the staff is extremely cordial and welcoming! I relish any opportunity I have to enjoy a performance here!”
“This is one of my favorite stores in St Petersburg! There are endless things to look at and enjoy, and whenever there is a special occasion, this is where I get gifts for my friends and family.
The things I have collected so far, like a lovely Russian doll and a spinning music box of Saint Basil cathedral, among others, sit proudly on my shelf so everyone visiting me can admire them. I wear the exquisite seraphinite jewelry I got here almost every day, and it is such a unique stone as well! I haven’t seen it anywhere else but here.
Vladimir and his wife are very kindhearted people, and welcome me every time I come. He has helped fix a lot of my jewelry, too!”

“One of the best art museums in the Southeast. Mostly recent period art of the old west displayed well. The building is constructed to best display the paintings and sculptures. Probably the largest selection of sculptures I’ve seen in one place other than in Italy.”
“What a great place!! Glass blowing demos amazing..glass blowers so talented, desk staff all friendly and helpful. Make it a stand alone visit or combine with Chihuly Collection, Art Center and Center for Clay!!!”
“Came here for a wonderful exhibit by our friend Babette. Her unusual creations from small to large have been popular as gifts for friends. Her choice of colors is wonderful: Muted tones of otherwise primary colors.”

“Looking for the perfect 11th anniversary gift and the manager, Joe, was super helpful and had what we needed. Friendly and good products and prices. 5 ? $$ to $$$”
“Tremendous collection of his glass art.
Get tickets in advance. Then we went across the street to see a glass blowing demonstration that was very in formative.”
“I took my first glass class making a pumpkin in the hot shop at Morean Art Center and it was so much fun! Kaylee and Matt were great instructors - very patient, motivational and kept us safe. I highly recommend the experience !”
“Great store selling American Indian Arts and Crafts. I needed to buy a gift for a friend that collects Indian antiquities. The owner, Harriet, was a great help. She really is an expert on what she sells in her store and is very friendly.
There is a great selection of pottery, basketry, jewelry and art as well as other items. I ended up buying a beautiful hand made flute by a Chicasaw artisan.”
“Wonderful gallery. In addition to the pieces displayed in the gallery itself, be sure to check out the artists and their collections on the beautifully curated website. Phenomenal service as well, from arranging to view pieces that we were interested in to purchase and delivery. Highly recommend.”
“Such beautiful art and. Raft work. The blown glass is stunning and the polished woods are gorgeous!!! Absolutely ton of beautiful gifts and stunning vases and blown glass and painted frames. Also small sculptures and wind chimes and the owners are so friendly and helpful. Great place to shop!! It was hard to decide what to buy”
“I checked out SaltLight ART today after I was thrift shopping. This place is great for gifts, and cute classy hippie styles. I didn't intend on shopping really just came into browse and found several things I really enjoyed. The gal working today might have been the sweetest, and the best customer service I've had in a long time. I also heard her mention that the owner is a local artist and hand makes the jewelry sold in the store, so I had to get a necklace. Great prices on jeans and tops. Definitely check out!”
“MGA sculpture studios is an amazing studio where amazing sculptures come to take life. The dedicated team of workers, artisans and sculptors create amazing works in mostly metal.
The sculptures made at MGA are visible throughout st Petersburg and Pinellas county as well as other areas of Florida and nationwide.”
“Love !! Love !! ARTpool, SO fun! Many unique, original finds and treasures. Wonderful locally owned vintage shop‼️ The place to go when you are looking for that special added oomph or just to smile and lift your spirit ?”
“Just got inked by J Michael, and I’ve got to say, he’s a tattoo wizard! This piece is a tribute to my brother, and J Michael put so much pride into every single detail—it’s like he knew my bro personally!
From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was hanging out with an old friend. J Michael turned my ideas into a stunning tattoo that I can’t stop showing off. Seriously, my arm has never looked this good!
If you want a tattoo that’s not only amazing but also has a story behind it, J Michael is your guy. Can’t recommend him enough—he’s the best in the biz!”
“Local, handcrafted art that ranges from whimsical to memorabilia and art. Interesting pottery and glass work and all in all it feels more like gallery and in some parts of a high class museum's gift shop.
Many pieces are truly unique, fantastical, but many are also usable additions to your household that will lighten up your mood.”
“I visited the Crislip Cafe! They have some of the best snacks and bakery items I've ever tasted. They also make THE BEST CHAI TEA LATTE IN ST. PETE!☕️? Pay them a visit and then slide on over to the shop located on the other side of the cafe for unique gift items by local artist. ✨️”

“My husband and I recently found ourselves making an unscheduled stop in St. Petersburg, FL for a day. We had just arrived from Chicago late the previous night. We didn't know anything about St. Petersburg, but figured the Visitors Center was the best place to begin. We were not disappointed! The staff was very welcoming, even offering to place our luggage in a secure spot. We were advised to take the tour bus around the city to get oriented. We did take the bus, but also did quite a bit of walking as the weather was beautiful. We took in the sights at The St. Pete Pier, and had a wonderful meal at Fresco's Waterfront Bistro. Many thanks to Shelli, Visitors Center manager, for helping us make the most of our brief time in St. Petersburg. So many things to see and do there. We wish we could've stayed longer!”
“High quality poto prints and cute quaint little art store with great prices, and Rob Davidson has be musiam quality mating and framing for decades. Excellent review #10”
“This place was so much bigger then I expected. So much to see and explore. I'm not an expert so I can't comment on the price, but they were having a 20% sale when we visited. Seemed worth it.”
“We highly recommend Hess for any valuables you may need to sell and they also have a wonderful selection of jewelry and watches in their showroom. Katrina and her team were extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful to our family as we part with some family heirlooms.”
“Beautiful art gallery with a wide variety of unique pieces. There was a great mix of styles and mediums, and it felt like every section had something different to discover. The space itself was well laid out and easy to explore, letting you take your time and really look at the work without feeling crowded.
You can tell a lot of care went into curating the collection. It’s the kind of place where you keep spotting details the longer you walk around. Whether you’re seriously into art or just browsing, it’s an enjoyable stop and worth taking the time to visit.”
“If you appreciate glass art as at Chihuly Collection or Imagine Museum then you’ll love visiting the Duncan McClellan Gallery in the warehouse art district. After approaching the unassuming building your jaw will drop when you step in. Various super talented artists display gorgeous unique pieces that’ll often have you wondering “How do they do that?” DM Gallery supports local schools in glass art education so please leave a donation. Prices to purchase the art vary yet aren’t for the faint of heart but quality this great for an original piece displayed in your home- Priceless!!”
