“I worked with Chris DeMint, who was 4 stars overall. I only subtract a star because he was not willing to quote me a lower amount for my homeowner's because he would be underselling me, in his opinion. My mortgage company required about half of what Chris insisted on, and I feel their cost to rebuild was closer than where he was. Maybe he just felt it was the right thing to do. I hope it wasn't a conflict of interest because of commissions. If commissions are based on policy amount, that should be disclosed immediately and it would be nice if that were not the case. Regardless, if a customer says they want a different coverage, offer your professional advice but offer it up readily.”
