“Yesterday this store had a new manager, she was amazing it's been awhile since this store had a manager who actually knew what was in the store and had a great attitude. Unfortunately she said she was just helping out, who do I contact to get this manager permanently placed at this location everyone visit and ask for Juleesa”

Your wonderful manager Fealonda made sure that we were taken care of and didn't leave her store unhappy ? After the visit to her store we decided that this is our new favorite place to shop ? ❤️

Although this location would be more convenient for me, I did stop going here. The store was always in disarray, filthy and service was non existent (especially at night).
I went in there today and immediately upon entering the store there was a different feel. As I walked through the isles I noticed things were changed around, items were hung, it was neat and wasn’t as filthy. I needed help and the young lady (with cornrows) was nice and helpful. I asked her if they’re re-doing the store. She said they started a few weeks ago. I told her it’s coming along nicely.
NOW, let’s see if they can keep it this way. I know there’s a shortage in quality people that have quality work ethics. Try to stop hiring people out desperation, STARTING WITH MANAGEMENT. (Not sure if it’s the same manager now, but she needs/needed ALOT more training. Everyone isn’t built to lead). I can give horror stories on why I stopped (in the past) frequenting this location.”
“I have been going to this store for five years now. The employees are so happy to help you, so eager to be of service, such a lovely group of people. The owner should be proud of the people he has hired especially the young man, Dorian and young woman, Charlize. Even as young as they are, their professionalism and efficency should be rewarded and commended. I asked them their names recently because I intended to write this review. Please take care of your employees kind boss. I can safely say that all of them are just superb at their jobs and wonderful to their customers. I applaud your Good hires Boss! “They're getting a lot better products in there and I love it even though the employees in there really need to sharpen up but I'll still give it five stars because they're young and the place obviously has great prices and they're getting newer awesome stuff in there.”
“This is my neighborhood store and I'm here at least 3 times a week sometimes. The staff has gotten to know me and my family and even recognize my son and his likes at local restaurants, because they're your neighbors too. They're also probably overworked and underpaid. If you're just stopping in and they're a little frazzled, please don't base your impression off one visit. I guarantee regular customers would say something different because they truly care.”

“The people who work at this store are very very nice...me being in wheelchair they help by opening the door especially if I'm having a bad day and just don't have the umf to push that door open...they are very knowledgeable about there store...if I can't get something of a high shelve...all I have to do is just ask for a little help...they always make me feel that I am genuinely shopping in My store”
“Clean always very polite workers in the afternoon and evenings some young men work always very helpful, professional. Their mother did a wonderful job always helping the ladies with their bags to the car since the carts can go out the door.”

“Family Dollar is a quick stop to shop, bigger and more products than neighborhood mom & pop stores. But not endless aisles like department stores. Great sales and some oddities to be found, make a stop.”
“I shop at this store daily and I have always been treated respectfully. I've seen customers act like children, while the employees stand by and take verbal abuse silently. A few times looked closer to blow, from disrespectful customers who have no class at all within their selves.Hats off to the employees at this store for the professional services they present to us respectful customers.If more stars were available,it would be 10....”
“There’s nothing wrong with the store products or employees, nothing bad to say there. However this is with all seriousness the grocery bags smell so bad. I’ve been shopping here for about a year and I literally have to hold my breath while I’m unbagging my items at home and immediately dispose of their bags ?.”
“I absolutely love the manager there (Don) as well as the assistant manager (Doug) they are both very hard workers but also make me laugh on a regular basis. I use to live near the DG Don worked at before he was transferred to this store. When he was transferred I was so sad to see him go. Lucky for me I moved a couple months after he was transferred and am now by his store again. Even more luck when I heard Doug was also transferred here. I give Don and Doug a lot of credit that's for sure. There is a lot that needs to be done in that store in terms of stocking the shelves BUT you've only got so many people that work there. Ave unfortunately there are people who will work the register and then when they're not busy just stand around rather than finding something to do. Not everyone is like that but there are a few. And the reason they do it is because they know they can. They know that it's hard to get people to work these days and that they need all the help they can get. Therefore they take advantage of the situation to the FULLEST!!”
“I'm happy to report that the store no longer feels like an oven, and the back of the store no longer smells like a sewer.
The cashier was very friendly and courteous. I always had good experience with the cashiers here even when it was a bad work environment for the workers.
To whoever is responsible for the turnaround, kudos.”
“I went in there to buy some journals & one subject notebooks..couldn't find them so I asked a young man. As I was inline with the two journals the brotha who was helping me look before had decided to look around & found them placed in the wrong area he approached me with 4 & asked if I needed more. I told him I just needed 4 & thanked him. So grateful he found this because this was the third store I had gone to & had given up.”
“I want to give props to the assistant manager Tiffany and the manager of those locations! My friend and I dropped the release button for the car and we looked everywhere for it. Tiffany stood out there with us cuz we were unfamiliar with the location and town and she was amazing! So nice and understanding. Manager looked on the cameras for us to see if anyone picked it up. Long story short a nice young man found it on the candy rack by the register and gave it to Tiffany! We thank you so much for your kindness and hard work! This goes to show there is still nice people in this world and caring! Thank you so much Tiffany. I forgot the managers name but big thanks to him as well! I will definitely be stopping in there again cuz knowing what people work there and you feel safe!”
“Had a great interaction at this dollar tree with a young lady named Porshia. She greeted us as we walked in saying “good morning welcome to dollar tree” and was super friendly as we checked out, asking how we were and to have a nice day as we left.
I have never been greeted coming into a dollar store before and I have never been treated so kindly.
I know having worked as a cashier before that it’s not a glorifying job. The fact that she has this attitude in this space will go a long way in any career she decides to pursue.
