“So I came to Key West from West NY, the land of Wegmans. Publix really doesn't compare to the grocery stores up north. But for KW it's great. We commute from Old Town, where the mom and pop grocery prices are exorbitant. They're a little better here. Cheaper and nicer than Wynn Dixie. Salad selection is way better than WD too. Prices are still crazy compared to mainland, but that's to be expected since everything is shipped in.”

“Super helpful and friendly staff! HANK is AWESOME! For some reason, we were craving rum punch (well, truth be told, I had just seen it on the Hogfish menu). Hank was kind enough to google the recipe and then helped me find the ingredients. While Hank didn't have all of the juices for the recipe, he sent me next door --- which I think is a fantastic way to support other local businesses. They also have a small, but really lovely, wine selection. And, prices compete well, or better than, Publix. I don't want to say it, but they have a Pinot that is priced $6 less than Publix!!! Plus, they offer a cooler full of cold beer - mainstream and local/unique.Lots of free parking, and if you want to stay in your car THEY HAVE A DRIVE THROUGH!Avoid the traffic and SUPPORT THIS LOCAL GEM!!! And, tell Mr. Hank I said "hey!".”
