I told them what I was looking for and that I don't have much experience in buying jewelry. They educated me on each part of the necklace i was buying; explaining how it's made, the pros and cons, etc. They showed options all around my price range to allow me to make the choices I felt were right. They even called their supplier and requested parts of the necklace for me to see the next day. I was in and out multiple times for two weeks trying to get all the details right and each time I went in they remembered me and greeted me warmly. “There are a lot of women's clothing boutiques on this street in historic downtown Stuart. The Island Cotton Company opened in 2011 and specializes in cotton gauze clothing and accessories which are perfect for Florida humidity. They opened a second location in Tequesta in 2017. Island Cotton Company has a large selection of women tops, bottoms, skirts, dresses, layering pieces and accessories. The clothes are causal, comfortable, and colorful. They are designed for the resort lifestyle. Some of the jewelry is handcrafted by local artists. Prices are on the higher end, around $60 for a top, but during my visit they were having a 50 percent off sale. They also have a lot of cute gift items as well like soaps and lotions. I had a lot of fun going through their jewelry and handbags. Island Cotton Company is definitely worth a stop in downtown Stuart.”
