“I’m a Service Connected Veteran who tried using the New VA 24/7 HealthNow Line for urgent treatment on a Sunday. They authorized an Emergency Room Hospital visit but sent me in a circle of 800 #’s for VA 24hr Pharmacy authorization to fill urgent antibiotic meds at CVS locally after receiving IV abt at ER. The nice tech & Pharmacist Eric tried inputting the little billing information the VA HealthNow line gave me after 4 calls of telling me my check in w 72 hr line was complete & just pick up the meds. The tech & Eric tried for 45 minutes inputting & then calling the line VA said for them to call. The msg said-Monday-Friday, not open on weekends. I had $3 in my account & Eric said it wasn’t fair they ran me in circles when they use to pay. He actually paid for my prescription out of his own pocket! He said i really need it today & for a veteran he would pay. What a saint! Please use this CVS pharmacy & tell Eric what a kind human being he is!”
