“My dog has bad allergies and her reactions cause atopic dermatitis and ear infections. I called the clinic and was able to get an appointment right away. They were very patient with me over the phone and answered all my questions about the cost of the visit and what to expect. I also feel like we were in and out of there the day of our appointment but in a good way. The doctor took his time to examine my dog and prescribe what she needed. My dog is doing so much better. “I brought my boxer Meatball to have his eye examined after noticing it was swollen to make sure he didn’t have a scratched cornea. I was able to make a same day appointment with Roxy who answered the phone when I called early this morning. She was fast and efficient in making sure I could schedule an appointment today. “I rescued a dog and was recommended SBAC from a friend. My rescue is some kind of bulldog terrier and had severe anxiety when I first got her. I took her to SBAC and the environment was truly ideal for her. It’s an open concept, not sterile, too bright, or cold. Good music playing. The doctor also mentioned that he had dogs of similar breed and understands them, which was helpful. At our first visit, was diagnosed with heartworms and hookworms. Dr. Sanchez gave a couple of options for treatment and we had candid and comfortable conversations about costs and potential side effects to each. I felt very confident leaving my dog in their care for the heartworm treatment, and with their counseling, she made a strong recovery. We also were able to have conversations about her anxious tendencies, ranging from trying trainers to diet to CBD to anti-anxiety medication. Ultimately I always felt like they would present options and help me make an informed decision as a pet owner. I really appreciated that. They were always very responsive on email and I would email them A LOT early on due to the number of health concerns I had adopting a rescue dog. I recently moved away from Miami and truly believe this place was one of a kind. The whole staff is loving and wonderful and my dog would get sooooo excited to go visit the vet. I only hope we can find somewhere similar for her here!”
