“Really cute hotel! New build with fun decor. Pet friendly!!!! They even had a little water dish and dog bones at the entrance. Lots of great places to eat in the area. Location is nice, too; you’re right by the two big schools. Railroad Square Art District is close by as well. Look both ways when you cross the street, the traffic can be pretty spicy if you’re trying to cross.”

“More like a contemporary college dorm than a hotel. The common area has billiards, foosball, individual cubbies and lounge. The room is very spacious. Staff as always at every Hilton I stay at are friendly.”

“The staff were excellent at check in and the checkout! Very nice large two bedroom suites with their own two separate bathrooms! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent with the most friendliest breakfast lady we have ever seen!”

“Helpful staff, great location
The rooms are rather body, partly because the room design makes the bathroom doors bang and reverberate down the hall.
Website said breakfast would be included for titanium members but it was not included when I got there.”

“The team at this motel six leading off Miss Rose at the front desk has always been number one in my book. They remember your name and they remember what good services about. I know you can't always have a good team everywhere you go, but I am Fortunate to be served by this team at Motel six where they'll leave the light on for you”

“Close to the interstate. Several places to eat nearby. Quiet area. Comfortable beds. I was upgraded to a King Suite upon arrival due to my level in the loyalty program. I encourage everyone to take advantage of the One Rewards program. This location is highly recommended! The photos and video are of room 209.”

“This Springhill is lovely! We stayed on Thursday March 24th for one night and had a great stay. Justice at the front desk was very helpful and sweet! The room was large and comfortable and we slept great. The only issue we had was that breakfast was not ready. We were told it started at 6:30am but when we came down it was still dark and we had to wait until 6:45 for the breakfast to start. Even then the eggs and bacon weren’t ready yet. Very disappointing as we were looking forward to getting a meal in before we hit the road. Overall a great stay though”

“My stay at Governors Inn in Tallahassee, Florida, was absolutely fantastic! This charming boutique hotel offers a unique blend of historic charm, modern comfort, and Southern hospitality, making it an unforgettable experience.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown Tallahassee, just steps away from the Florida State Capitol, the Supreme Court, and a variety of shops and restaurants. The hotel’s central position makes it easy to explore all that Tallahassee has to offer.

What makes Governors Inn truly special is its rich history. The building was originally constructed in the 1920s as a stable and warehouse, and in the 1980s, it was transformed into the boutique hotel it is today. The hotel has preserved many of its original features, including exposed brick walls, wooden beams, and antique furnishings, which give it a warm and inviting atmosphere. Each room is named after a Florida governor, adding a personal touch and a connection to the state’s history.

The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities you could need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail in the room’s decor was impressive. I especially loved the historical touches throughout the hotel, which made the stay feel like stepping back in time, but with all the conveniences of the present.

One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service. The staff were warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was perfect. They provided great recommendations for local dining and attractions, making my visit to Tallahassee even more enjoyable.

Overall, Governors Inn offers a five-star experience with its unique historical charm, prime location, and outstanding service. It’s the perfect choice for anyone looking to experience the best of Tallahassee in a setting that’s both luxurious and steeped in history. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!”

“We work with the FRLA as one of our marketing partners. Every associate we do business with in regard to print projects, conferences, events, etc... is always a pleasure to work with. We always appreciate the recognition we receive at their annual Marketing and Operations Summit. We *could* just be in the background as a marketing vendor, but they always make a point to come to our booth, thank us, and recognize us in their presentations. We truly feel our partnership is appreciated.”

“Home away from home. You're greeted by smiles and friendly service at the front desk. The rooms are very clean. The only thing I have an issue with is you're being charged for parking. Bring your own drinks especially water is six dollars a bottle. Oh did I mention the pool.”

“The pricing was perfect, the rooms were ok but again for the price I paid I don't expect anything less. The only issue I had was that the bed, sheets, pillows and chair did stinks but other than that, the room was not bad and the cleaning lady was very nice.”

“We had a nice comfortable stay. The hotel is nicely updated and undergoing some additional improvements. What really made the hotel great, however, was the hospitality and customer service. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and helpful. Sophie at the front desk was awesome. She is very guest oriented and goes above and beyond in making sure they have a great stay. If the hospitality industry and hotel management are her thing she will have great success.”
