A true holdout from a once vibrant industry, if you love physical media and miss browsing the shelves for the chance of finding something truly special, this is the place to be. They have the widest selection of movies I've ever seen, with tons of rare and out of print titles. If movies have changed your life the way they've changed mine, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit.”

It was a delightful evening to be outside for this 3-hour event with plenty of room for display of exotic cars. The historic home that was built in the 1830s there was a delight to tour!”

“Tonight I pretended it was 2022 again. I finally got to see Top Gun: Maverick the way it was meant to be seen — in IMAX — and I saw it at the Challenger Learning Center, which already means something to me on its own. I’ve been going there for years, long before I moved away for eight years, and now that I’m back, every time I walk into that building it feels like stepping into a familiar part of my life. This was only my second time back since returning to Tallahassee, and somehow it was even better than I remembered. I grabbed my Coke ICEE — and I swear, this might’ve been the best Coke ICEE I’ve ever had. Perfect texture, perfect flavor, none of that old‑ice taste that’s been ruining the AMC ones lately. It hit the spot immediately. The ticket was only fifteen bucks, which is insane for an IMAX showing. Challenger has always been one of the best values anywhere, and tonight reminded me why. The seats felt new — or at least different — and definitely more comfortable than AMC’s IMAX seats. You sit a little closer to the screen here, which actually made the whole thing feel even more immersive. The sound system was fantastic, the picture was sharp, and the whole auditorium just felt right. Not a ton of previews, but enough to set the mood. Their concession area is always clean, simple, and easy, and I love the vibe of the place. It’s not a corporate megaplex — it’s a community theater with IMAX power behind it. Parking was supposed to be a dollar, but it ended up being free. Little wins. I walked around downtown for a bit before the movie, took some pictures, and Tallahassee’s downtown really is beautiful at night. It has that quiet charm that hits you when you’re not rushing anywhere. The movie itself? Man… Top Gun: Maverick looked incredible in IMAX. All those practical shots, the real jets, the cockpit footage — it all hits different on a giant screen. The movie barely uses CGI, and you can tell. It’s clean, sharp, and grounded. The story is basically Star Wars — trench run and all — but it works. It’s fun, it’s emotional, and it’s just a damn good time. Alan, who runs the Challenger Learning Center, loves the Top Gun films, and honestly, I love supporting that place. It’s part of my history. It’s part of Tallahassee’s history. And nights like this remind me why I keep going back. Overall? 5 out of 5 experience. Perfect seat. Perfect ICEE. Perfect IMAX. Perfect night. Sometimes you don’t need a new movie — you just need the right theater.”

“I was here for a concert last week and I must say, this is the best event venue I’ve ever been to. Doors opened promptly on time and the line moved extremely quickly. Staff was very kind and I was offered water at least 5 times while in line (it was a hot afternoon) and during the concert. Medical emergencies (people fainting) were handled in a speedy manor as well. I had an amazing experience!”

“Very convenient to my work location for this trip. Entire staff was very nice. Room was well kept. Liked the design to have kind-of two bathrooms: one for toilet/sink, one for shower/vanity. When you're traveling by yourself it doesn't make much sense, but for two or more it would be awesome. Another typical Marriott facility - grounds and rooms clean and looking good, great staff.”

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but mine had a little bit of a musty smell and had to ask for some freshener. Would’ve preferred brighter lighting in the bathroom and maybe an additional light in the room itself after it got dark. But very good value for the money.”
