Dr. P is the best!! My wife had her exam today, and couldn't be happier with the experience. We were seen on time, and Dr. P and their entire team were very professional. Thanks to Chase as well for helping us with frame selection and answering all of our questions.

I have an appointment today at 11am, it is currently 11:40 and I have not been seen. It's a busy day, so that's understandable and I Dont mind waiting. What I do mind however, is how rude the female receptionist with faux locs and glasses is.The moment I walk in, I get a monotone deadpan voice and sighs while she tries to get my name and info . Still whatever, I continue w my appointment. When Im asking for more clarification on why the fact my presumed in person Dr appointment is now a telemed appointment with a non refusal $44 fee for a retinal exam, she constantly cuts off any questions I have.I try explain how I didn't see this $44 fee while mak-” It was on the website in tiny font.” she then rolls her eyes and calls for her co-worker to explain. When I spoke to him about basic clarification on questions that I had, the conversation was a minute tops. And most of that was him trying to be as polite as possible to compensate for his co-worker.While sitting in the waiting area, I listened as she was rude and short with other customers. While I understand people have had days, we as customers have nothing to do with YOUR bad day and you need to present yourself as such.Only giving two stars bc the guy who came to help was very polite, very informative, and easy to speak to. When speaking to him it was very obvious he was well informed and proud of the work he does. But unfortunately it was still easier to walk out and not receive care today.

MyEyeDr on LafayetteI went to this location because it opened on Saturday’s and it was convenient for me. When I first entered the building, my experience was great. I like to know what I will be charged upfront just in case I don’t have enough. I was told a certain price and then I was told that once I finish the exam portion, I would be told the amount for my contract lenses and or glasses. The lady that called me back was extremely prompt. She was standing there at the desk waiting on me. The optometrist was also outside and thorough. Now, here’s where it went downhill and fast! The guy that helped me made me feel as if he really didn’t want to be bothered with me at all. He made me feel as if I was poor and I was wasting his time. He showed me the most ugliest and the most tackiest glasses I’d ever seen in my life. I’d made me think of the days that I was on Medicaid because he pulled out this box. He also showed me some on this wall that was thin and made of wire. He kept hesitating about talking to me about me purchasing contact lenses. When I told him that I preferred to bring in my own frames and I’d like a copy of my prescription with the PD on it he really got upset then. He gave it to me. The he began to ring me up. I was told that I had to pay 1 price, the he told me that I had to pay $135 for contact lens fitting with my insurance and no one ever told me that. Then he goes on to tell me that I was told that and that I was lying. I have never been charged that much and I’ve been going to MyEyeDr for years…until now. I told him to bill me. I will be paying the bill next week, however, I will not be going back, nor will I be recommending anyone else to go.

I have been coming to this location for a few years now and always have a great visit. This visit was a little different. First I would like to say that Ms. Brenda is ALWAYS helpful and pleasant! She has been that way since my very first visit and I love each encounter with her! Secondly, Dr. Petrovich was great! She answered my questions in a direct way which I love and also helped me see the benefits of wearing daily contacts versus monthly. When my exam was over and it was time to order my annual supply of contacts, Dr. Petrovich walked me out and everyone was busy. No complaints there because I completely understand. She noticed Jim wasn’t busy and asked if he could help me. From that moment he stated he was trying to finish paperwork and I immediately felt as if he did not want to assist me. He was very short and tried to finish up quickly. I had a question about the breakdown of the costs, but I didn’t bother because he was just simply trying to get me out of the door so he could finish whatever he needed to. Typically with the annual supply, you’ll get a free pair of sunglasses. He almost forgot about that and finally told me where to go for the sunglasses. The encounter with him felt rushed. I get that it was closing time and I already know how the process goes, but being professional goes a long way. Lastly, one of the things I count on is the rebate for the contact brand I wear. He was literally about to let me walk out without even discussing it. I had to bring it up! I don’t know if he was having a bad day, but I regret not telling him I would just wait patiently on someone else to help me. Once again, my visits usually go smooth and great, but Jim definitely tainted this one. Thanks again to Dr. Petrovich, Ms. Brenda, and the other staff. Happy New Year to you all!

I just had the worst call ever that the Eye Dr. Is gone. I was just told I had a Tele visit appointment scheduled. I never had this type of visit scheduled. I scheduled a regular visit to see the Dr. about 4 months ago for the up coming December 2023. The staff was really NASTY to me when trying to get a better understanding on why am I paying for something I did not ask for with my insurance. This is a pay out of pocket. This is a test you they offer if you want it done.Also, I was told I had to pay $45.00 for the exam for my eyes. I was told, if I did not choose this, I have to wait until March/2024. How do you wait 2 days before a patient appointment to call them about this type of situation. Then I was told, they had patients in front of them at their desk. Either I take the appointment or cancel and rescedule or go some where else. I asked to speak to the Supervisor. I was told they was the Supervisor. I am really disappointed with this staff. No patien deserves to be treated or spoken to this way.
