I moved here August and with plans to move in early with my sister and were assured that the apartment would be cleaned prior and it in fact was not. The floors were dirty and there was splatters of paint in hallways, rooms, and bathrooms, to which the 4 of us living here ended up having to scratch off ourselves. To further add on, the couch had so many cat scratches all over it from the people that previously lived in my unit and it was torn up, which should have been replaced prior to us moving in as well as the table that had little dinks all over it. In addition, our ac unit filter was so disgusting and the door to my room would not close properly without having to yank it closed.
The ac was replaced by Seth who got us a new one which we greatly appreciate and my door was fixed thankfully by someone else.
Recently we have been experiencing issues with the fire alarms going off randomly and the parking garage on the side of the graveyard does not have security or like a gate for only residents to enter in. Any car can come in and frankly anyone can walk into the building. To top that all off my sister and other friend who lives here has just seen a homeless man, who normally hangs out outside the building, on the third floor of the apartment. Oh and I forgot to mention we are having a cockcroach problem and we requested for pest control, but still are seeing them. Besides all that the updated amenities are nice, but a lot needs to be done here. Elevators are constantly breaking down which is also an annoying problem. Also the entrance to the elevators on college ave has been unlocked when I tried to enter which is another way for homeless or honestly dangerous individuals can enter the apartment. That is not okay at all. My best friend who is also living with me, had no bad experiences AT ALL living here last year and this year it has completely twisted for her. I am grateful for the help of the maintenance team that has done their job to come and fix our issues such as the alarms going off and has given us a new ac filter. It is extremely aggravating that things were not done correctly the first time and that new problems are constantly arising.

I genuinely could not put it into words how bad this place is. If you’re a parent do not move your kids into the Rowe. The staff is extremely unprofessional and they don’t work well with young adults. There is hidden fees and they will charge you for literally anything. There is a ton of black mold and they won’t do anything about it. Me and my roommates We’re sick for about a year because they wouldn’t do anything about it. You have to beg them to do their jobs or any maintenance requests you put in. The rooms are the size of a dorm and it’s 1100. The elevators never work and if you get locked out of your home, they will not help you. Their emergency help line is a joke and they will not help you until 10 pm when the office opens. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Do not live here.

Day one move in. They are towing students cars on move in day. Students are moving in on Saturday and they are actually towing vehicles while the students are still moving in. My son had to pay $130 to get his car back from impound, because he parked where he was instructed to by staff. He has paid for his parking but someone was in his assigned spot. The office told him to park in an adjacent spot, and he was towed. What a great way to start off the year.

Be careful in this trap. Rats run across the elevators and courtyards, employees visibly hate their job and throw attitude when you ask for help, the apartments come in bad shape and if you ask for help, maintained puts a bandaid over what’s wrong and moves on. My new favorite addition is the house music they have started blasting at 9am for all the balcony’s to hear on the Jumbotron in the courtyard. It’s typically loud enough my room shakes. If I could leave I would, but I’m sticking out one more year here. Goodluck

There were some issues when they first opened but it looks like the new management really turned things around!

The gym is solid, with everything you could need. With the hot tub and pool area it feels like a mini resort. There are tons of study spaces too and a really cool theater room.
It’s important to remember that the people who work here are just people and will do what they can to help you.

Management always helps out no matter how big or small the issue. My apartment is perfect for what I need. I love living here!

I’ve honesty really enjoyed living at The Rowe this year. I’ve been here the whole school year and just renewed my lease for next year and I even got five of my friends to sign leases too, and they’re all super excited to move in!
A lot of the negative reviews seem overly dramatic or based on outdated experiences. With the new management and recent renovations, the place has really improved. At the end of the day, it’s a college apartment complex, not a luxury hotel. It does exactly what it’s supposed to and more. The amenities are honestly amazing—there’s a pool, gym, game room, sauna, dance studio, study rooms, and even a podcast/TikTok room! The new management has really stepped things up, and the renovations look great.
The staff is great—super helpful and always around. They host fun events all the time and are always giving out free food, merch, and more to make sure residents feel appreciated. I also feel safe here, especially with security patrolling every night.
If I had to mention one downside, it’s that the elevators do break down or need repairs pretty often. It can be frustrating sometimes, but it’s not a deal-breaker. Probably should be taking the stairs anyway! Also, the hallways can smell bad now and then—but that’s really more on the residents who leave trash outside their doors.
As for the noise complaints, we’re in a college town surrounded by thousands of 18–22-year-olds. Of course it’s going to be loud sometimes....what do you expect?
All in all, I’ve had a great time living at The Rowe. I normally don’t leave reviews, but after seeing some of the exaggerated ones, I felt like I should share my honest experience. If you’re looking for a fun, social, and well-managed place to live in college, I definitely recommend it. I’m already looking forward to another year here!

Can't wait to move out! Way too expensive for what you are getting!
Just FYI, most of the good reviews are people who don't actually live here, but ppl who took a tour of the building and liked the guide.

DO NOT LIVE HERE IF YOU WANT PEACE. In all fairness, the thing that makes this place bad are the people who trash the place CONSTANTLY. I always see workers cleaning up the mess that people leave behind but it's definitely difficult with people every weekend leaving trash all over and breaking the elevators trying to fit like 20 people. The management itself and the apartment isn't terrible, and in fact has upgraded a lot compared to previous management. However, the location being so close to the bars and clubs makes this spot so easy to trash. Also, you will NOT get any sleep on the weekend because either people blast their music from their apartments until 2am (sometimes later), or the surrounding places will blast it EVEN LOUDER. I literally felt the bass in my walls all the way from ksig. I would love to say you get what you pay for but the rent is honestly too high for me given the stress that this place gives me. I really don't think that there's anything management can do to make it better since even with reinforced security people will just find their way in.
