“What a wonderful vet clinic! Partner and I took our cat today, excellent customer service! The clinic doesn't smell of animal nor cleaning product at all. The vet, and vet tech were just great people; super friendly and incredibly personable. I would HIGHLY recommend this clinic for all your pet needs.”

“I just can’t say enough about this place. There’s been so many times I’ve had to call them and reach out to them for one of my animals being sick or hurt. They’ve always been compassionate and caring and understanding The whole staff is amazing. We had to put our dog down after 15 years last August and they made it more comfortable and helped us grieve. More than some funerals I’ve been to I just wanna say thank you to all the staff. We will never go to another veterinarian ever.”

“Dr. Hall, Caden, Reese, and Candy were all absolutely amazing! Reese and Candy were so kind and helpful every time we called, Caden was incredibly kind and helpful, and Dr. Hall was wonderful with our very young kitten. We had a bad experience at another vet, so coming here was such a relief. From the moment we came in, we felt like our concerns were truly heard and, most importantly, that our kitten was safe and in very good hands. They were able to get us in for an emergency appointment one morning even though we weren’t established clients, and they also helped us through urgent care around 10 p.m. one night. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure our kitten was taken care of. We are so grateful for the care and kindness we received and would not want to take our kitten anywhere else. I honestly wish we could bring our cat from home to this vet, too! We couldn’t be happier with our experience.”

“Both my late husband and I have never been disappointed in the outstanding quality of care our pets have received. For well over thirty-five years, in both difficult times and far more wonderful times, we knew our pets were always in compassionate hands. I would NOT consider going anywhere else! Killearn Animal Hospital has been a blessing to my pets and to me. It truly is friendly, professional, and still feels like family!”

“I cannot thank Dr. Golden and everyone at AVS Equine enough for the compassion, kindness, and professionalism they showed during one of the hardest days we've had as horse owners. Having to make the decision to provide end-of-life care for our sweet senior boy was absolutely heartbreaking, but Dr. Golden made the entire process as peaceful and comforting as possible. She was incredibly compassionate, patient, and knowledgeable, taking the time to answer all of our questions and ensuring our sweet boy was treated with the utmost dignity, respect, and care. Her kindness and gentle approach truly helped ease our pain during such a difficult time. I highly recommend Dr. Golden and the entire AVS Equine team. They provide exceptional veterinary care, and I wouldn't trust my horses with anyone else. They are, without question, the only equine veterinary practice I will ever use. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤”

“I’ve taken three cats to them (including my one boy with a rare genetic condition) and it has been worth every penny. He had an asthma attack early in the morning on a Saturday and they got him in to see his doctor the very same morning. Great techs, great doctors, super attentive and compassionate. “The complete staff at Lake Jackson Animal Hospital are amazing. We unfortunately had to let our little dog Toby go to sleep. It was so heartbreaking. They were so kind and gentle with him and us. Then out of the kindness of all their hearts the sent us a card signed but all of them. Each said very kind and loving words about Toby and our loss. We will never forget Toby or how we were treated by them. Thank you to all of you at Lake Jackson Animal Hospital.”

“Yesterday I took my aussie in because she was very ill and not wanting to get up, move, or eat. I call Northeast and they told me to bring her in and they would get her in. I thought maybe she had a bad tooth and it was infected. The Doctor called me and told me that all the bloodwork came back good and he saw that her tooth had been broken off some time previously but he didn't think it was infected. Think about it ... he could have really got me. Your pet needs antibiotics, steroids, surgery, a tooth pulled; anything and a large bill that would have come with it. He politely told me to watch my baby until the next day, If she wasn't better by noon then we would start treatment for possible infection. That night she was still sick The next morning she was up, tail wagging ready to go to the barn. I appreciate so much the honesty and integrity shown by this vet office. They have my 100% trust and support. Thank you again for such great service.”

“The staff was simply amazing. I was seen in a timely fashion, I didn't wait long between the initial intake and the vet (Dr Ruten!) to come examine my cat. She was very thorough and calm, answered 1,000 questions and put both my pet and me at ease. The vet tech, Koran (sp) made the whole experience smooth and that is so important when both owners and pet are anxious. The price was absolutely competitive and I have FOUND MY VET here in Tallahassee.”

“Dr. Kevin Drygas and the team at Capital Veterinary Specialists were an absolute godsend for our family and our husky, King. We traveled all the way from South Florida to Tallahassee after King was diagnosed with a tumor involving his ankle. From the moment we arrived, we felt like King was in incredibly capable hands. Dr. Drygas took the time to examine King, perform advanced imaging, and really understand what was happening before determining what could safely be done. During surgery, he was able to remove approximately 95% of the gross disease while preserving the important structures King needs to continue using his leg. He also removed the sentinel lymph node for testing so that we could get as much information as possible about what we are dealing with. What impressed me most was that he never made us feel like King was just another case or that there was only one predetermined path forward. He explained that the pathology and imaging results would guide the next decision and was willing to consider what treatment would actually make the most sense for King rather than forcing one particular option. The level of care, compassion, skill, and communication we experienced at Capital was exceptional. Even after a major procedure, King was already getting himself up and walking, which was incredible to see. When your dog is family, putting their life in someone else's hands is terrifying. I am extremely grateful that we found Dr. Drygas. We drove roughly eight hours to get King to Capital Veterinary Specialists, and I would make that drive again without hesitation (and will be) Thank you, Dr. Drygas and everyone at Capital, for taking such good care of our King.”
