“I love out of the closet! On this day they were having a mega sale on a plethora of clothes in the parking lot, $2 per item. They do that every once in a while but they have the best men’s selection for a thrift store in the area. They have tons of selections especially for jeans and shirts, which are color coordinated, as well as books! It’s the best place to beef up your book collection for only $1 a book sometimes. They also have a pharmacy inside so you can shop.”

Most thrift stores these days have raised their prices but this place had a great selection (especially for being a small store) and even better prices. “Family Thrift is a non profit that provides families in need in Broward, Miami, and Palm Beach with clothing and furniture. They will pick up your gently used clothing and furniture for their stores here in Margate and in Lauderhill. They also do buy outs so their stores are a mixture of new and used items. They have this store in Lauderhill and another one in Margate. I had fun sorting through the treasures. They had clothes, furniture, household goods, decorations, and collectibles. There was a lot of things to look at and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of inventory. Everything was neat, organized, and fairly priced. I saw several people who looked like resellers picking up items and checking prices on their phones before popping it into their carts. If you see something you like grab it. If you enjoy thrifting you will want to check this store out.”

This place is more than just a store—it’s a food pantry and a true lifeline for the community. They are deeply committed to helping those in need, especially the poor and sick, and their mission is to ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food.
What’s even more inspiring is their origin. They started as a nonprofit with a simple yet powerful goal: to feed and sometimes house people who were dying alone and abandoned by society. It’s heartwarming to see an organization like this that cares so much about the most vulnerable among us. Whether you’re donating, shopping, or just stopping by, you can feel the difference they’re making in the lives of others. I highly recommend visiting and supporting this incredible store!”

“A lot of stuff. I went for furniture since I recently moved. I got two end tables, similar to ikea material, that are self build for $5 each. I got a cute lamp also for $5. I got two brand new never used sports bras for $10. I got a floor mat for $7 & change. I got two pictures (one canvas & one glass) for $3 & $5. Parking is a little tight during Saturday mid-day times. Very clean & smells okay. Some of the high end furniture is very reasonably priced. There were brand new box springs in the bags which were a little above budget. There are a lot of items in this store that were clearly brand new from the manufacturer. One example were cute laundry bags near the checkout desk.”

It has definitely become one of my favorite places to shop for exclusive furniture. I will stop by today to get small table as well. I must also mention that the delivery guys were absolutely fantastic. They provided a stress-free experience and ensured that everything was handled with utmost care. “This review is for the church thrift store open on Monday's, Wednesday's, and Saturday's from 10 AM until 1PM in a trailer on the back church property. Proceeds from the thrift store benefits the church mission programs like Hope Women's Center and Blessings in a Backpack which provides food insecure local elementary students with food every weekend.Thankfully the trailer was air conditioned. There are three rooms with men's, women's, and children's clothing, toys, household goods, and small appliances. There wasn't a huge amount of stuff but what they had was well organized and clearly marked. They even had some free bins as you walked in.Note that they are cash only. I ended up purchasing a decorative urn for only $5. I am going to try my hand at flower arranging with it. I would definitely stop in here again and there are a number of other thrift stores in the area as well.”

“Calling all bargain shoppers, thrifters, furniture flippers, budget-savvy savers. This location has an incredible variety of goods to choose from. Lots of furniture, his and hers clothing, buckets of Legos, paintings, dishes, books, and CD/DVDs. It is well organized and priced to move. I love just looking through the furniture and I’m impressed at the quality and diversity of the donated goods. The store is clean and the staff are friendly. It is located directly on Broward Blvd close to i95. Watch out for rush hour traffic as getting here can be tricky if you’re going against the traffic.”

“My wife and I were in a position that we had to clean out a condo of clothing and household wares. This Goodwill Donation Center was such a convenient place for me to drop off many of these items for donation. They have great hours including weekends which makes it very convenient and we were able to drop off items when we were headed to the Publix grocery which is right next door. They have a very friendly and helpful staff and of course they give receipts if needed. As soon as we drove up, I asked for a cart which they brought to me very quickly. THey also help me unload it and get more bags and boxesThey do not sell anything here. They only accept donations, which was totally fine for my wife and myself. We were getting rid of items, not collecting more. KUDOs to the team at Goodwill Donation Center.”
