Mex Rent a car

Car Rental
Mex Rent a Car offers a mixed experience for customers, with standout aspects in customer service and vehicle quality. Many reviews highlight the helpfulness of staff members like Kay and Abraham, who provided assistance and were professional and kind. However, customers often experience long wait times due to multiple rental carriers at the same location, which can lead to frustration. The rental process requires careful preparation, including bringing a declaration page from an approved insurance company to avoid additional fees. Customers have noted various extra charges, including security deposits ranging from $1500 to $2000, and fees for exceeding mileage limits. A shuttle service is available to transport customers from the airport, but wait times can be lengthy, leading some to opt for rideshare alternatives. Overall, while the car quality is generally praised, with vehicles being clean and well-maintained, the rental experience can be improved with better communication about requirements and clearer operational hours. Customers are advised to do their research and arrive prepared to have a smoother experience, as understanding the policies and potential fees can help mitigate frustrations during the rental process.
