This is the WORST hotel i have ever been to!!!
1 The front desk was kinda rude towards us. We arrived like an hour before the Check-in time and we kindly asked for early checkin and the front desk lady just treated us with her bad and impatient attitude and told us we needa pay 50bucks more for 1hour early checkin.
2 The room is awful!!!! Bathroom lock is damaged and broken, the mirror is so dirty. The key point is that there is a COCKROACH behind the curtain!!! We just found out about this the morning before we checked out.
3 We stayed for two nights and there was no HOUSEKEEPING or any CLEANUP AT ALL!!! We didnt have the shampoo bath set refilled also the soap, towels and all this stuff!!!
4 The second night when we were back from Clearwater, we asked the front desk for a bath set and some towels before we went back to our room. It took them like 45 MINUTES to get it delivered to the room.
5 The towels we got are so dirty and there were a few yellowish brownish spots and stains on them which i didnt notice and had already used it!!!
6 The TV is not working in our room as well. Neither screen mirroring nor Netflix.
7 There is like a 25bucks charge per night for meal and drinks. But its only available from 7am-10pm and if you didnt get it spent, u would still get this charge. We didnt notice it for our first night and we asked the frontdesk about it on the second day. And they insisted that they did give us info about that where they DID NOT(i am 100 sure that they didnt cuz both me and my friend did listen to them really carefully during checkin)
The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It is in downtown so its easy to take a ride to most of the viewpoints.

Great stay during the 2025 Tampa Bay Comic Con. Close to the convention center, River Walk (naturally), and than channel area. Plenty of restaurants nearby, but the in house bar was cozy.
Highly reccomended!

This is a part of my other review considering the bugs since they wanna say that they couldn’t find any bugs at all. Ya’ll clearly didn’t look at all since some of them jumped on the carpet so even if you changed the sheets, they’re gonna be roaming around on the floor. Horrible that they charge so much and still want to lie and be lazy and only want to give us 50% off for one night! When we literally have photos of them and the bites and one of your people you sent up literally saw it. I wish the live would work when uploading these photos so you could see them move.

★☆☆☆☆ — Very Disappointing Experience
We had a confirmed reservation, but when we arrived at the hotel lobby, we were unexpectedly asked to pay an additional $500 on top of what we had already paid in advance. The staff member who assisted us was unprofessional and had a poor attitude, making the situation even worse.
This was a very frustrating and upsetting experience. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

What Does It Offer:
Various bedroom combos, many convenient accessories, required valet, ideal if you’re going to any of these expo centers or the actual riverwalk recreation area; breakfast-lunch-dinner and both an indoor and pool bar.
Pros:
Good curtains to block out window light and nice view from above.
There is an outdoor pool (closes at 10 pm) and indoor workout area (open 24/7). Both a bar at the pool and inside as well.
The structure of the building and thicker walls allow for more noise cancellation.
The Wifi is solid and should work instantly.
There is a very smart front desk staff who know other ways to identify and confirm it’s you while also telling you other details upfront. You can tell they’ve done all kinds of troubleshooting and want to stop issues before they occur.
Cons:
It is next to downtown so occasional road noise (despite being stories up); If anyone is senditive, definitely bring ear plugs or box fans.
Restroom drainage system sometimes makes noose so close the when it’s bedtime.
Someone kept setting off a fire alarm so definitely a few techhical issues.
There was sufficient soap (but not enough if it’s a full family crowd tagging along) and the beds will vary by preference so I recommend those with more needs and sensitive speep bring extra covers and shampoo/soap with them when they travel here.
Hit or Miss:
Some of the food is apetizing but some of them have ingredients I can’t eat anymore or personally don’t care for so ask for them to remove certain parts if you can.

As the other reviews have stated, the rooms are outdated, needs a renovation....BUT, it was clean, nice location, and amazing service.
Just suck it up and use the $25 voucher at the onsite restaurant.

When entering you’re met with a beautiful lobby where we met Jose E, very kind and was totally great. Going up to our rooms we noticed a smell in the hallways that smelled like a expired can of spaghettis exploded, upon entering the room it’s decent but not what you might think you should be getting for what your paying. And then we found bugs on the sheets and their excuses were that it’s just Florida bugs. They then came and gave us one pair of sheets and pillows and left, expecting us to change the sheets. We complained again because at this point it was late and all they tried to do was give us a voucher for food. Where is the relevance in us complaining about bugs and us getting food. We only ended up getting 50% off for the night when we should have gotten more for the mess. Forgot to mention but the bugs did bite which is how we noticed in the first place. And unfortunately they followed us back home. Don’t recommend this hotel. Even the cheap hotel we got in the past that had horrible reviews saying people can be heard screaming for help had no bugs at all.

We had a great stay here in July and were very impressed by the hotel - we travel often and know what makes a good hotel. Service was great and super friendly, especially the servers in River’s Edge. Breakfast exceeded our expectations and it was so nice to have the view of the Riverwalk while dining. We were traveling with our two-year old and they were great with her in the restaurant and pack’n’play in the room was set up. The location could not be beat, we had a great time exploring the nearby Children’s Museum and ran the Riverwalk in the AM up to a few parks and Armatuer Works, and walked it over to Sparkman’s Wharf and other parks in the evening. Great views from the rooms and the pool looked inviting, though we did not have time to enjoy it. Will definitely be back!

Ok. We had to upgrade from a really shady hotel to this with a pool that wasn’t green and included valet and had a restaurant.
Couple of notes.
1. Whatever they use to get rid of the smell of whatever. Sooo strong. My 5 year old actually called it the 6th floor smell.
2. On a day of 100 degrees heat. The pool bartender was missing for like 45 mins and then shared their ice machine maker for pina collada’s was broken. So weird iced drinks for us.
3. Went to take a shower. No shampoo. Just body wash and a conditioner. Thankfully I brought my own for washing.
4. Dinner was actually pretty decent. Except it took a whole hour to get foods and then my husband has bones in his chicken Parmesan that he shared with my 5 year old. What the heck?!
I have questions…..

The lobby of the hotel was beautiful and thats where the beauty stops. the room never got colder than 75, the hallway was hot and smelled bad, the room smelled like mildew. The elevators were small and old and scarey used the stairs for the entire time we were here. Valet was ok but pricey $47/ night!!!!) it would've been cheaper to park off site and the fact that it was kinda mandatory is ridiculous. I had a budget for this weekend and this unexpected costs and taxes took away from my other bills including money for my daughter's birthday this weekend. Overall this was our first stay here and I would not recommend or return to this hotel again. It was a disappointment and right after checking in I cried to myself this was supposed to be a fun birthday weekend for my daughter and she had fun but I was embarrassed by the accommodations and my lack of funds after the parking and taxes. I could no longer get her any gifts and that was unfair to her. I had to save up for this weekend to begin with and this broke my bank and it was a disappointing experience overall. I wouldn't recommend to friends or family. I've stayed at other hotels in the area and the experience was much much better. Lesson learned.

(3.5 Stars) A one night stay. Valet on site because that's how they do it here. Easy and convenient. Check in at the desk super easy. The front desk staff was pleasant and polite. We asked for our room to be located away from the elevators, they complied. The lobby is completely up to date as well as the restaurant. And here is where looks can be deceiving.
We take the elevator to the next floor up. Step off the elevator into a dreary hallway. Low lightning and dark carpet. Something was just off. You see this gorgeous lobby, beautiful lightning, gorgeous furniture and then up are transported to this? So the hallways haven't been updated. I had to go back to the website to make sure this was a Hilton. Our hallway for a good 3 hours smelled like marijuana or strong THC use and it was on the balcony side.
Upon entering the room, it was clean and spacious. Nice big TV with local stations only. Good for 1 night. (Another brand we stayed at recently had Netflix) Bathroom had good lighting and an updated mirror. Plenty of towels BUT they do NOT have the big attached bottles of shampoo/conditioner/lotion. They only have travel size. Bring your own or ask for more. The beds, blah! The one closet to the window had a huge dip in it. I ended up sleeping in the dip. My hips ached the next day. It was a very a uncomfortable bed. The bed comes with 4 pillows and it took me til midnight to find the one that worked.
We didn't need a nice view because we needed a 1 night stay. The fitness center was a great size and the pool too. We went to the bar after checking in to grab da dessert. Our creme brulee cheesecake slice was over $12.00. I should've hit the Publix on the way in. Breakfast buffett is way overpriced. It wasn't worth it for 2 people. $30/ each. They do offer eggs with onions and peppers and eggs with ham cooked together, bacon, sausage or turkey links, grits (oh wee creamy and delicious) fresh fruit, waffles premade, oatmeal, and potatoes. No omelette bar, no crepe bar or pancakes and waffles made to order. I wouldn't charge more than $15/pp. And the view of the water would be great but you can't see anything out the sweating dirty windows. I was trying to watch a lady kayaking on the river.
Also if you have a scooter or wheelchair user, there needs to be a way for them to open a door to get out of their room. We heard a woman yelling hello, over and over again. My first thought was someone fell. No she was trapped in her room and couldn't get out, sitting on her scooter. I can't imagine. The room needs to be ADA compliant.
Check out - took a minute, retrieval of our car was easy and the young men are quick. Very helpful. We will not be back to this location, $300/ a night it wasn't worth it.

The location is good, but the hotel needs major major upgrades! The tub looks like they attempted to redo it, but it has drip marks running down it. My view from the balcony is of a secondary larger balcony that has sludge and beer cans on it. There are weeds growing from the secondary balcony. The tint is peeling off the balcony door and has stuff stuck under it. The furniture is not up to par. The bed is rock hard. The carpet is old and needs to be stretched. I am not even sure if I will stay or get another room at this point. I was not expecting this at all.

Where shall I begin. Broken iron, room not made up 2 days of a three day stay. Sitting here waiting on towels so I can shower and get dressed for a gala. Barking dog next door. It’s all wrong. Very disappointed

Don’t stay here! It’s deteriorated, halls are musty, ac is loud, bathroom is disgusting and hotel food is too expensive for microwave food. The front desk girl with the pink purple hair was bothered when I told her how disgusting this place. First thing out of her mouth, did you tell us. I am telling you. My coworkers had the same issues and were changed from rooms. Bad to worse. Don’t do it!!! If you do, wear sandals to shower.

There are a TON of hotels near the convention center that are way better so definitely recommend those instead. I was here with my friend and we both like to sleep cold (around 67°). The first thing we experienced was super slow service to check in. Then we walk into our room and find a cup on the floor in front of our pullout couch…. most likely a coffee or tea left from room service because she wanted to sit and chill in our room. Then we notice how hot it is in our room. It’s 90 outside and it was 73° in our room. We tried turning it down but NOTHING no change. We called front desk and they offered a fan because the AC might not be working but the fan didn’t blow really any air and then we found out the AC just doesn’t go below 70 because there is a lock on the thermostat. It was dreadfully hot in our room all weekend. Our shower was scorching hot and doesn’t even have a single drop of cold or cold ish temp we tried everything to turn the heat down. Location is fine. Then we asked for a late checkout (12pm) since our flight isn’t until 7 and they said a hard no. As i’m leaving I find out they would’ve done it. Also the bar service we were only able to order one drink as the service was extremely slow and we just wanted to get the check to go… took 10 min after asking and it wasn’t busy. I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here.
