The Florida Aquarium is a fun tourist spot in Tampa with plenty of sea life to see and great exhibits. Guests can explore complex ecosystems and engage with interactive exhibits. Unique programs include an underwater walking tour, an African penguin encounter, and the awesome Wild Dolphin Cruise. Personnel are nice and informative, and the organization is focused on taking care of their animals. However, some exhibits could use touching up, the cafeteria food is bad, and parking can be a major problem. It is an amazing place with so much to see and do, though some note it is really overpriced.

You will see species here not seen at other aquariums. Very clean and well organized.

We had some time to kill after getting off our cruise ship. Ended up enjoying ourselves more than we could have guessed. There was a lot to see, and they seem focused on taking care of their animals!
