“I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of Uptown Cheapskate until now! From the moment I walked in, everyone was so welcoming and genuinely kind. The store is absolutely beautiful, clean, and very well organized. What stood out to me the most was how friendly and helpful the staff was. I’ve been to a few similar stores nearby, and unfortunately they weren’t nearly as welcoming. The customer service here made all the difference and made me actually enjoy shopping. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend stopping in if you haven’t been yet!”

“This house/storage units converted into a thrift store is a such a beautiful idea and hidden gem! They have so many vintage items for great prices, anything you can think of, they have it. Toys, clothes, kitchenware, furniture, trinkets, from all over the world! I love it here! I ended up getting a swivel sofa chair that rocks, I vacuumed it up some and put it in my bedroom and it looks great! They get new shipments of things every other week and you can actually call if you’re looking for something specific and they will let you know and even hold it for you! The owner was so sweet and I’m jealous of her Lucky Cat figurines! I’m still on the lookout for one! It seems i keep missing them at the thrift stores/antique shops I’ve been going around to. I’ll find one some day, guess you have to be lucky to find one ? They also helped us bungee cable the chair to my friends trunk and it held very well! I’ll be bringing those cables back to y’all, thank you so much for everything!”

“I love this church thrift store! I bring all of my thrift store drop offs here and I shop here. ( I wont say if I've repurchased anything I've previously dropped off here 🙂↔) They seem to have the best prices, especially when they run their specials. For instance, they recently had a 50 cent sale - all clothes 50 cents. Crazy right? I just picked up a few things at 60% off. I found 3 shirts and a Halloween scarf. Total was under $4.00! So if you have the unquenchable urge to shop but dont have much money, try Holy Trinity. BTW, the quantity of clothes isn't huge but it is refreshed daily, all day. I'm sure that you will find something you like. also have tables with chairs, seasonal items etc. Excellent pricing.”

“The thrift stores are where I go to find treasures! I always find cool stuff at great prices. This is another strategy for saving money taught to me by my mother. As a child, I would hide in the car while she shopped in Goodwill. I didn't want anyone from school to see me there. “I come often with my family and have mixed feelings about this store. The women at the registers are always wonderful, and Vincent in the furniture department is especially helpful and friendly. The furniture selection is great and the guys in the back that bring it out are amazing. Really the whole team is top tier! My only issue is that the home goods section has been frustrating to shop in for a while.It seems like the same group of resellers are there from open - close almost every day. They appear to get first access to the new carts as they’re brought out, often under the guise of helping the stocking associate, and you could easily mistake them for employees. As a regular customer, it feels like there’s very little chance of finding anything unique before it’s already been picked over because this group is consistently given first access. One older gentleman in particular often acts as though he works there, sorting through merchandise, putting items away, and selecting what he wants as the carts come out. The one time I politely asked if I could look at an item on a new cart, I was told it wasn't allowed. Yet that rule didn’t seem to apply to the reseller who was already going through the merchandise. The appearance of unequal access to new inventory makes the experience feel unfair. Because of that, I am more regularly going to Goodwill... even though it’s unfortunately more expensive lol. It’s just frustrating to see the same 2-3 resellers there all day, every day, getting preferential access while other customers are told to wait. :/.”
