“This was messed up from the beginning.
This Penske location caused a three day headache. Watch the video. ? $30 refund on a $154.81 bill and I didn't get to finish what I needed.
The rep was very nice that I spoke with when we found out what was happening with the truck. Unfortunately, it caused us time and the inability to complete what we needed. Avoiding the wind and rain was critical.
The seal around the windshield was coming off. The conversation with the Rep at this location led me to believe this had happened before. He didn't seem surprised in my opinion when I told him it was the windshield. In addition I over heard a service rep when I dropped off mention it had happened in the past. Ok Penske this is not cool.
We have 3 more moves within the next 9 months. I swore to use Penske but y'all gotta do better.
And the district manager at this location needs to get a grip. We're loyal customers and apparently that means nothing anymore to him. ??????????”
“AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE!
I called and took me to a VM, left my message and few seconds later got calls, which I was not able to pick up, my bad, then I got a text message and they worked with me very fast and professionally, this is a great team and customer service!
By the way, the number that reached me via text had a flag with a note saying that it was possible a call from someone called “Amber”. Who ever is, this person looks like they is a true natural serving person. Kudos to Amber!”
“The staff was very polite and helpful.
The only negative thing was that we tried to get the uhaul originally on a Saturday and the system was down. Again, the men there were patient and tried for over an hour to manually get my information in, but I ended up having to reschedule for the next day. That was pretty upsetting, and apparently it is something that tends to happen?”
“I love when I walk in needing something quick and they have it right on the shelf. I didn't have to ask the parts department to get it from the back like other dealerships. Purchased 4 tail lights today in 5 minutes and was back on the road. Us owner operators like efficiency and speed. This dealership has exactly that. Thank you.”

We sent a truck to be repaired that many local shops in our area tried to fix it but only made the problem worse. We contacted RDK truck sales and shipped the truck to them and it was fixed in a timely manner. They also helped sell that truck for a reasonable price. “I have used U-Haul a lot recently with different reasons (trucks, trailers and supplies). I have been using the new location in Brandon and found they are not good and I have had to wait over an hour once and 45 minutes the next time. One time I was scolded for being late, but I was in line on time, they just took forever. The other time the two employees talked to each other more than the customers.
In my displeasure with the new U-Haul location I decided to go to the Wood Shed to get my rental needs met. Why didn’t I do it sooner! The gentleman who runs the place is super nice and friendly, I was in and out in minutes. He made me feel like a customer, not dollar signs. You need employees like this at your actual location. It’s sad when your satellite company has better customer service than your actual branch. Shame on you. Hire or train better people, send them to the Wood Shed to learn actual customer service.
The new owner has turned the place around. Keep it up my friend, small businesses like this should be praised from the rooftops!”
