“Been coming here since I was a kid and now am bringing my kids here. The place is conveniently close to restraunts and stores. It's on the beach and not overly crowded. Has great amenities and comfortable. Excited to build memories with my kids here like I had growing up.”

“The Sea Jay is a great place to stay. This is our second year vacationing here, and we love the location, staff and the pool. Its a smaller hotel (which we prefer) and the staff are very friendly and attentive to our needs. Waffle House is one block away, public beach access is 2 blocks away, and the grocery store is a 15 minute walk. Several restaurants in the area, with delivery options. Yes the rooms are simple with basic furnishings and a small bathroom (some may call it dated, I call it retro) but the price is affordable for a week's stay. I almost didn't want to write a review, so we could keep this place a secret! But we love it so much here. Will be coming back next year for sure”

“We have been coming here since 2008. We love it. Rosie and her team are always checking on everyone at pool to make sure all are happy. Will continue coming back. Rooms are clean, service is great!.”
“The hotel was hit by the hurricane on the first floor rooms were. So they’ve all been redone. I’m on the second floor in the rooms have not been redone and they show it. However, they’re still in good repair just not to my standard.
The pool is OK. You only get one pool towel per person per room for the whole week. So you might wanna bring more of your own or you can pay two dollars a load in washing and then two dollars a load to dry them.”
“We originally had 2 hotels to choose from but we're so happy we ultimately chose this one over John's Pass.
It was a very nice, clean place.
Staff was very accommodating.
The only disappointment we had was when we checked out today, the young clerk at the desk was a little rude. She didn't greet us or asked how we enjoyed our stay. All she said was to throw the keys in the box. She was totally opposite from the first clerk Named Danielle who was very sweet, pleasant and accommodating.
Other than that, I would go back. Its a nice,clean place to stay with the gulf across the street at a reasonable price. Lobby coffee machine was still out of order.”
“Great location, right on the beach and close to many shops, including Publix (within a mile). Clean, up-to-date, and the staff upfront were very nice. Only issue was the wifi wasn't working well and the tv doesn't access any apps. Otherwise, great place.”

“Very quaint, no frills lodging. Wonderful staff. The lodging is clean and well kept. The beach is very deep here so be prepared to walk a ways to the water. But it is beautiful and worth the walk.”
