“If you live in Tampa Bay and have never been inside the Showmen's Museum in Gibsonton, Florida you are missing one of the most extraordinary collections in the state. Executive Director Lee Stevens is a walking encyclopedia of American carnival and sideshow history — his personal connection to this community goes far beyond curating a collection. When Silent Slayer Ghost Tours brought a private group for after-hours access, Lee took us behind the scenes into his personal office and shared photographs and stories that no standard museum visit would ever include. The history of Gibsonton is unlike anywhere else in America and Lee is its most dedicated keeper. If you have any interest in Florida history, carnival culture, or the American sideshow tradition — make the drive to Gibsonton. You will not regret it.”
“This is my son's first year doing busy baseball and it's the best decision I've ever made. Everyone is so friendly and encouraging. The kids have an amazing time.”

“This place is AMAZING! I registered my son for the Growing Together class last month and am SO glad I did! I'm thankful I was told about this place from a gal at Baby Time at the library. As a SAHM, the resources this place provides for my son are invaluable. The staff is INCREDIBLY friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful experience. I know Danielle has done that for me each and every time I step foot in there. Thank you Brandon Family Resource Center for your amazing hearts and passion to serve our future generations! God bless you!”

“A hidden gem.
FAOPA and its family have enriched our lives in countless ways — through new friendships, inspiring role models, and incredibly talented teachers — and we are especially grateful for all they have poured into our son, seeing in him something we had only glimpsed. Heather, the owner, is a wonderful leader who guides energetic young performers with kindness and humility, bringing beautifully staged musicals to life in a short amount of time. We couldn’t be more thankful for this organization. They even have talented (affordable) a videography available for the families. The photos you’ll see here are by Paul Storm Photography.”
“Warm, caring supportive staff, from the time you walk in through to the time that you leave. Programming for all ages, including seniors. I enjoy playing pickleball everyday in the gym. I’ve met a lot of people who’ve come to the sport later in life. At age 64, I love it.”
“"I've been a member of this gym for few years now, and I can't say enough good things about it. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the facilities are always clean and well-maintained, and the variety of classes and equipment ensures there's something for everyone. It's not just a place to work out, but a community that motivates and supports each other on their fitness journeys. Highly recommend!"”
“This is a wonderful place, everyone was so kind and understanding, we ran out of food and didn't know what to do, me and my other half have sever health issues, I've put in applications but ppl don't want to hire ppl that are either older or health compromise. So we came here for help and these ppl are some of God's angels. Thank you so much ❤️”
“I had an insightful and fun-filled first day with Caitlin Albritton at TBMSC's DIY Cobblestone Pendants class. Caitlin's teaching style is engaging and informative, making the process of creating beautiful pendants enjoyable and accessible for everyone. The class provided a perfect blend of creativity and hands-on experience, and I walked away with not only a stunning cobblestone pendant but also valuable skills and inspiration. Highly recommend this class to anyone looking to explore their artistic side!”
“Went there yesterday for my first time to get information about Plant City downtown.
They just moved to the new building and it looked very nice.
My comment is more a suggestion…
I’m surprised that with such a charming downtown, there are not history tours offered to learn more about the town.
As a new comer, I was looking for a trolley that gives tours or walking tours to learn more about the beautiful buildings/houses within the downtown area. Horse carriages would be awesome as well!
Food/drink tours?
Please, consider to offer these services in the future even if only on Friday, Saturday, Sunday.”
“We went here with the Surgery Tech class and we received a great presentation and tour! We left knowing how wonderful it was to know that they are honoring their donors and do great work there! Everyone was so knowledgeable and friendly. It was one of the best inservices I've ever been experienced. Thank you so much for having us! Be a Donar!”
“This was my cousin and I first time going to lighthouse Gospel mission and food pantry and thrift store what a awesome place they provided enough food for my family for at least 4 to 5 days it was awesome. We met a pastor I do not remember his name unfortunately he is a tall thin Caucasian male with whitish gray hair very warm welcoming professional gentlemen that greeted us with kindness and care upon arrival. The secretary that we first met after speaking with her on the phone earlier this morning she is awesome very professional and informative. I also want to comment on the men of the program that were wearing the green shirts helping with the food drive they all are so respectful so well disciplined and caring these men deserved a serious high five and a thumbs up they are an asset to the organization God bless everyone there and God bless those special men that assisted with the groceries I take my hat off to you all and very appreciative and thankful. Paul Simmons family. And the family of Jerel Davis”
“I needed some help sorting my fines in this community. I called the office and spoke with a wonderful woman named Kimberly. She was able to answer all of my questions and even E-mailed me a copy of my invoice. She went above and beyond for me. If it wasn't for her I would not have been able to solve these issues.
She's a keeper.?”

“Salvation Army and Samaritan’s Purse are my two favorite charities to give to. They don’t waste a lot of money on advertising like others and I like how they help out people of all kinds in all kinds of places. Christian principles too.”
“Many different types of camps to choose from. Hours are all day, which is good for working parents. Price isn't too bad and they serve lunch. Fun activities and themes every day and they have many different locations to choose from.”
