“Am Marriott Platinum for life (so have stayed at many Marriotts). This hotel is among the best of the best with respect to friendly, caring staff. Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly & seemed to genuinely care that we had a great stay. Marcella & Jose ran an amazing breakfast service. Food was fresh, always ready, hot, & tasty. Again, just another example of everyone at the hotel caring that we had a great experience (which we did). Without hesitation will stay at this hotel again!”

“Affordable, clean, comfortable, and close to plenty of essential businesses yet quiet to where I could sleep peacefully. All necessary accomodations plus outside seating with plenty of storage for personal items and clothing. More than enough electrical outlets. Will be back whenever I'm working in the area. Up to date appliances and air conditioning - again can't beat the price! Well pleased. Wi-Fi and laundry on site as well honestly everything I needed.”

“Sometimes you need a hotel in a hurry and last night was one of those nights. Our friends’ air conditioning went out and we needed a place fast. Being IHG Diamond Elite members the Holiday Inn Express was the obvious first call and they did not disappoint.

The lady who answered the phone that Sunday early afternoon, just before the end of her shift, was absolutely outstanding. Friendly, professional and had us sorted in minutes. We hung up, booked on the app and were on our way. We genuinely wish we had caught her name because she deserves recognition. If management is reading this it was early afternoon on Sunday May 31 and she was wrapping up her shift.

Check in was fine though the front desk rep was likely newer and didn’t recognize our Diamond Elite status until we mentioned the points at the end. Small thing but worth noting for training purposes. She was pleasant throughout.

The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable, exactly what you need in a pinch. Two maintenance items worth flagging for the team: the TV in our room needs replacing as the image quality was pretty rough, and the GFI outlet in the bathroom kept tripping and wouldn’t reset.

We mentioned both to the rep at checkout. He needed a moment to warm up to the feedback but once he grabbed a pen and wrote it down we felt heard. That’s all you can ask for.

Would we stay here again if passing through? Absolutely.
