I’ve dealt with a few car rental companies in the area and Hertz had to be the most reliable and efficient service I’ve had! Our rental was only for a day since we just needed the car to make a one way, early morning flight. I looked at different sites for quotes for a small car and Hertz had the most deals and cheapest prices for a rental! I placed the reservation through their mobile app which was incredibly easy to use. Day of pickup, I received a call to confirm the reservation, and the employee was very polite! When we arrived to pick up the rental, the employees were very kind and efficient with getting our rental together! They were very informative as well! We got our car in less than 15 minutes (after all the necessary paperwork, etc..). Dropping off at the airport we were departing from was also incredibly easy, just parked, and gave the keys to the front desk who were also very friendly and helpful!
In the past, my family had always encountered some sort of problem with renting cars, whether the type of car they reserved wasn’t available upon pickup, the car not being ready, incorrect pricing information, etc.. So going into this, I was definitely weary, but now I know which rental car company to use going forward! Highly recommend!

I have been on hold now 18 plus minutes. I have tried for one week to speak to a person regarding our security deposit that was not refunded. In addition to spending $167 for damage/ loss coverage we also used blankets for the dog. She is a support animal. We thoroughly cleaned the van before returning it but now they are saying they are keeping the $200 deposit due to dog hair. I spoke to someone at corporate and they told me they would get in touch with the local Hertz manager to see if they would be willing to refund us. Still no word so I called the local Vero Hertz. Now over 20 minutes on hold. Terrible service. I just want to speak to someone there and try to explain the situation. It seems very unfair.

I strongly advise against renting from this company, especially at this location. I initially requested an electric car but ended up with a Mustang, which was unsafe for my small child. Although Jason mentioned a potential $20 uncharge per day switching from the mustang to a jeep compass…, when I called to confirm my final total, I was told there would be no extra charge since it was an exchange. However, when I returned the car, they still charged me the upcharge despite their earlier assurance. Their lack of honesty and poor customer service makes them untrustworthy; please avoid renting from them.

Reasonably efficient and accommodating. Small office at a small airport, so not a huge selection of vehicles. Can be busy at times.

Made a reservation through priceline
And even though I have aaa they wouldn't wave the underage fee
(I called up hertz after booking and they said that the fee would be waived)
This place just tries to rip you off and pushes really hard to get costumers to pay for random useless add ons
Unreliable don't rent from here

Complete and total scam! We booked a 24 hour rental car, turned it in on time, dropped the keys in the dropbox and were charged for 3 days without our authorization. They don't tell you that when you reserve a car returning after they close at noon on a Sat, that you will be charged for the 1.5 (rounded up to 2) days it sits at their lot until they open again. We are disputing the charge with our bank because Hertz won't help us, they are perfectly content scamming anyone who needs a weekend rental. Seems so much easier to just do honest business and keep loyal customers.

Had to insist a lot not to pay for an upgrade

Had a rental from Orlando. Got a flat tire. No spare. Roadside was trying to send me 35 miles north to Melbourne airport because Vero Hertz didn't answer their phone. I went to Vero anyway..5 people working there.. No one can answer a phone? Ridiculous! This is Hertz, a national billion dollar company, and 5 people can't pick up a phone... Side note, my rental was a luxury rental. Left with a Jeep. On the tarmac rental company, and they have no luxury cars? Buyer beware...Hertz rental cars DO NOT have spare tires, and they will charge you for towing.

Great fast pick and had a brand new car with only couple thousand miles on it. Staff was friendly and efficient. Would recommend this location. It is not inside the airport but a building next door.

Horrific sales service!! Run from this place!! Alan is rude and tells you to call back in 10 minutes. When you do he yells the entire time you try to make a reservation!!! He is the absolute rudest human being on the phone and hung up on me. No manager is available so when Alan is rude and a total jerk which is always—call the regional supervisor to complain!! I’m renting the car to go to a doctor’s appointment and Alan knew that but instead of being kind he was extraordinarily rude!! No compassion at all!! Just a very rude person who is there for a paycheck only who puts you through hell to rent a car!!
