I’d give them 100+ stars if I could! Dr. Tatiana Habanova is an amazing person to work with. She takes her time and explains everything so you are at ease and know the what and why at all times. I came in to see her about a back issue I’ve had almost my whole life. She worked diligently with me and within a short time I was not only feeling better but also looking better. With her guidance my posture has improved tremendously and I am pain free. And Bonnie also does wonders with her massage therapy! Together they are a great team! I will be forever grateful for their knowledge and expertise..and especially for their kindness and encouragement. This has truly been an amazing journey toward wellness and I couldn’t be in better hands.

I was referred to Tatiana for a concussion consultation, but I stayed with her since healing because she was the first chiropractor in several to finally adjust my hips correctly. I had been complaining that there was something not quite in line, and she was the only one that was capable of addressing it! ALSO, if you want the best massage ever, regardless of what your needs are, Bonnie is the one! Excellent service from everyone in this practice, thank you for your help

For the past year I’ve suffered from leg pain in my thigh front of the hip down and tightness in my back.I tried physical therapy, massage therapy and after a few months of no relief, I switched to acupuncture and more stretching. I ride horses and have a very active lifestyle, and wanted relief from the ever increasing pain.Acupuncture didn’t do the trick either and after weeks of treatments I switched to chiropractic adjustments. One month later with three treatments a week I was now limping and not really weight bearing. As a last resort I went to a spinal surgeon who ordered an MRI, the result of it showed no nerve impingement and the surgeon suggested pain injections. I worried about steroids and didn’t commit to it.Then Dr. Habanova came to our house to adjust my dog and i mentioned my problem and made an appointment with her.She did a full neurological work up and lots of mechanical evaluations and immediately found the initial culprit to my pain... my ankle was frozen and over time I started to compensate involving my knee... but I was unaware of it as I experienced no pain.But when it hit my thigh... the pain was searing and everybody only looked at the point of pain!I was very fortunate to run into Dr. Habanova... after two treatments and a wonderful massage by Bonnie who closely works with her... I am weight bearing and my limp is greatly reduced! I still have a ways to go... but for the first time in well over a year I believe I’m going to be fine!!Thank you Dr. Habanova and Bonnie for all you’re doing for me!

Terrific place to start Pilates, or fine tune an existing program. Clients get 100% of Dr H ‘s attention. She is exceptionally professional with a breadth of science based knowledge that is difficult to find in the “fitness” world. If you are willing to make a commitment of time and money you will not be disappointed. There is no magic here.

I am a new client, but already have only good things to share and positive results to report. Dr. H. is a skilled, caring, mature and warm professional uniquely combining pilates training and chiropractic care. The studio is very well equipped and is a very welcoming environment. As a competitive dressage rider , I especially appreciate her awareness and expertise working with riders. Every time I go I learn something new, stretch my body and mind to a new level of awareness, performance and well being. I highly recommend The Pilates Wellness Center , 5 + stars!

Update 7/7/19: Just returned from a 500 mile walk in 34 days across northern Spain (the Camino de Santiago) with my husband, averaging 15 miles a day. My husband started working with Tatiana about 6 weeks before our journey started( and me 3 years ago.) It seems a miracle but we had no blisters, no sore knees, no sore hips or backs. We both attribute it to our conditioning with Tatiana. She taught us how to walk and breath properly, which we adhered to religiously, going up and down steep terrain, slippery, stony paths with slate outcroppings, muddy farmers paths and asphalt. The conditioning that we did with Tatiana was exactly what we needed to stay strong and healthy on our journey.

Tatiana made me understand what pilates is all about. Her great knowledge and inspiring “you can get there”, made me believe that, in spite of my age and severe scoliosis, I could actually , by training my muscje memory , make my twisted spine-and my whole body- feel straighter and more flexible.

I discovered The Pilates Wellness Center on a recent trip to Wellington. Tatiana is a body ninja! In addition to being a genuine and caring person, she is extremely knowledgeable in all facets of wellness. Over the course of several days she helped to identify and correct areas of under and over use in my posture and biomechanics while teaching me to integrate proper form into all my movements. My dressage trainer..and more importantly, my horse noticed a positive difference. I must also mention Bonnie, from whom I got an incredible massage. She is so intuitive and conscientious, I highly recommend treating yourself. I can't wait to come back on my next visit!

An absolute must for anyone wanting to improve their physical and mental well being. Pilates when performed correctly under the guidance of an expert like Tatiana can really enhance your ability to improve in virtually any sport that requires core strength, balance and body awareness. Highly recommended for any equestrians !!!!

Joining the Pilates Wellness centre has honestly changed my life. I joined after seeing Tatiana rehabilitate and manage my husbands injured back and since then I have gained far more than just an understanding of Pilates. Having been a top gymnast and now an international equestrian rider, I already thought I had a good understanding of my health and wellness. Tatiana has such an astoundingly broad education beyond Pilates and Chiropractic. Her insight, eye for detail and willingness to educate have influenced me in so many positive ways beyond Pilates. Every session is informative and as I improve they become more physically demanding, yet we always work within my limits. I can honestly feel that with the consistent chiropractic work, my immune system is stronger and I'm just more comfortable in general. The studio is always perfectly clean, appointments always run on time and I love the convenience of being able to do my pilates, chiropractic and then head to my massage all in the same building. Tatiana communicates directly with my wonderful massage therapist Vinnie about any areas that need attention and I'm honestly in the best shape I have been! Thank you, Nicholas Fyffe

Truly amazing changes in my body and posture! Tatiana's chiropractic adjustments following Pilates allowed me to achieve and maintain straightness, which combined with new core strength made me a completely new rider. When my Horse and Trainer can see and feel the difference, it is that much more rewarding.
