I called this gentleman past 10pm to move a vehicle to the other side of Florida and he was able to find a driver within the same evening. About 12 hours later a very professional and overall nice-in-general driver arrived and quickly hauled the vehicle away. The prices are great and appropriate. I've had horrible experiences with mechanics in the past where they tried so hard to rip me off. Nathan was different. He gave me multiple options to choose that would best accommodate to my financial circumstances and even did few service items for free! “My 2013 Kia Optima broke down on Eastbound I-4 at Mile Marker 15. Contacted 813 Towing and talked to Frank who was very courteous and helpful. Dylan, driver of the flatbed car hauler, contacted us via phone and kept us appraised of his progress getting to us. It was a typically busy day on I-4 so it took him a while to rescue us. Dylan was friendly, courteous, informative. He took us directly to the local Kia dealership. After dropping the car he wished us safe travels and offered to do more is we needed him. “car broke down in a walmart parking lot, had to have the tow guy come mid-day on a monday. as you can imagine the situation was less then desirable. dylan was very quick with getting the car loaded and professional with handling people who were upset about the truck being in the middle of the lane (this was the only option for getting the car loaded). with it also being the cheapest option in my area, i will definitely be recommending to anyone who needs a tow.”
“Had a very questionable experience with another U Haul location in St. Pete and eventually made my way to this location on very short notice.Having driven through a typical late afternoon Florida monsoon of a storm for almost an hour and a half I was somewhat hesitant about going in.End of the month and the place was packed with customers who were probably at the end of their own wits yet it felt so much different than any previous visit to U Haul ( especially the St. Pete location that I just visited).Was greeted by a gentleman who asked me what I was there for and he immediately sent me to the proper line and I was greeted by an amazing and enthusiastic young woman who welcomed me and explained that she was there to help and that she would be doing the installation of my hitch.She took my keys after we signed the paperwork and told me that she would get right on it. I went outside after a few minutes and walked around the lot and sure enough she already had the vehicle up on the lift and was well into the project.While I waited I was greeted by a gentleman who apparently was a manager who was not only polite but very friendly and knowledgeable and understanding of my frustrations with the previous location.Less than an hour and I was on my way and had a professional installation completed.KUDOS to the entire staff and management of this location. If you want true customer service and satisfaction then make sure you get this location for all your moving needs and more.”
