Rented from National at PBI a month ago. The service was outstanding. I rented again and just returned the car. The service getting the car and returning was equally outstanding. Jefferson and Wilkens you rock customer service. As a result, I will always look to National first when renting cars. Car is a car. Service matters.

Slowest bus in the land. All the other rental companies would have 2-3 buses picking up people while National takes 15-20 min just to do 1 round. By the time they come around it’s like a fiasco trying to get on the bus with everyone else waiting. Be more efficient

All the reviews clearly show this can be a great location, but have had two less than ideal visits to this branch. Both of them were later at night - feels like the “National” side of the business gets completely forgotten after 5pm. Car selection is less than ideal, and many cars don’t have keys in them because they are being held for someone, yet they sit in the executive aisle. Late night gives you the enterprise experience (have to find someone to get you a car, and options are limited) while paying the National price. Disappointing given that it seems the daytime experience is stellar.

I had the best experience at National at PBI. Check in was seamless and Kenisha was extremely nice and helpful. The car itself was great and I had no problems at any point in my trip. Car return was also a super easy experience and Jefferson helped streamline the process. I couldn’t recommend this location enough!

Enterprise & National give your team a huge kudos especially Mr. Romero (manger, big football player build a thorough gentlemen), Kevin, and the entire PBI staff. They are thorough professionals who made my experience seamless and enjoyable.I’ve rented 3 times from PBI they have a good inventory of clean & well maintained cars with easy checkin and checkout experience.

Had the best experience renting from National at PBI. The manager couldn't have been more willing to help when I arrived to the Emerald Aisle. His courtesy and help made my experience selecting a car fast and easy. To add, dropping off the car was a pleasure. Jefferson greeted me and asked if he could help us find our ride. He went over and beyond and I am looking forward to renting again here.

I booked a reservation the day before 4th of July at another car rental company, they were so unprofessional / did not have a car ready. I cancelled and quickly scheduled a new rental with National— the experience was night and day. National was a much quicker experience, tons of NEW car options to choose from. I ended up picking out a 2023 Toyota Highlander with only 185 miles on it. Great rental for the week and cheaper than the previous company! The drop off process was incredibly fast, a worker walked up and scanned the barcode and I was done.

I rent vehicles from this location monthly. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of vehicles that are in super condition. The vehicles are always clean and they do not have any bad odors. I like that they put Clorox Wipes in the car. The location is really close to the 95 making it easy to get to the PBI Airport. The Shuttle Service is also spot on.

I cannot say enough good things about National Car Rental at the Belvedere location in West Palm Beach. We have used them six times in the past six months and each time they have went above and beyond in their customer service. One of the times I was panicked because our flight didn't land until after midnight but was assured that they have a schedule of incoming flights and stay open for those passengers. On this one occasion, Austin, was the person who checked us in and was so upbeat and pleasant although it was 12:30 am and he had a long day! In addition to Austin, other employees who also were extremely friendly and helpful have been Stuart and Soso. From the person greeting us off of the shuttle to the person at the gate upon exiting, National Car Rental employees are the best!

This issue is not just for this airport. When you call customer service it is very difficult to get your issue answered.I left an item in a car instead of calling directly to a small airport. I had to fill an online form. I was happy to do even though I knew days would pass before I get a response. During this time I could still not call directly to the airport. The branch only updated their list and found every week. Once the week passed there were a few items that could have matched my item. Again there was no way reach out to the branch to validate or discuss the items.I eventually wrote a follow up email to my online form and received a short response without the possibility of discussing the issue with the branch.

Great selection and service. Everyone is helpful and when I was a new client they went through to explain the process. They followed up afterwards and made sure I didn't have any questions prior to leaving.

Initially this would have just been a negative 2 star review, but from within the negative came a positive. Reviews should merely be intended to warn future prospective customers, maybe vent a little, or even better give thanks to extraordinary service. In this review, I hope to warn future renters, identify a caustic employee, but also give kudos to the manager; scroll to the last paragraph, to cut to the chase; otherwise, join me in this mini adventure.Upon arriving on a late/delayed flight into the PBI airport, I went outside for the shuttle for a ride to pick up my rental car. The kiosk was closed, but I was expecting the check out location to be open. Outside, the sidewalk display said to call for for the shuttle, because it was not running regularly this late. After many attempts to call, many repeated rings, followed by a notification that I cannot leave a message, I decided to take a ride share to pick up my rental. However, upon arrival, I was met by a faceless voice from within a cloaked golf cart declaring everyone is closed. Annoyed, but understanding, I paid for another ride-share to get to my destination. Oh well, life will go on, until ...I'm not mad at National, even though suggesting calling for the shuttle bus is deceiving into making one think they were still open, vice simply taking away the banner or changing it to closed, may assist tired and hopeful renters. But again, life goes on. Fast forward to the next day when I go to retrieve my rental, and the attendant tells me that they were there (and open) last night, and the mystery voice from within the golf cart "shouldn't be saying that" ... well, that threw a small match on my frustration, but I doused it with an F-bomb slippage directed at that evil mystery voice, and moved on. For the record, I did apologize to the attendant for the slippage. However, as I got into my new rental, I thought, "if they were open, why didn't the shuttle bus" come to my aid? So I turn off my fresh smelling rental, determined to ask the manager ... why if they were open, wasn't the shuttle bus phone line working? She informed me that in fact they were closed!?? Being semi-OCD on communication skills, I was thrown off guard how well this young manager explained everything, and with such speed and articulation. Although young, she spoke very professionally and sincerely, and she immediately squashed my annoyance and frustration. I was now satisfied with the event, but the attendant, with whom I spoke earlier became utterly unglued, as I asked the manager why had the attendant told me National was open? Hearing this, the attendant then declared that she had not told me such a thing. To ensure there was no confusion about what transpired three minutes previously, I asked the attendant, "are you saying that you did not just tell me you were open last night?" To which she angrily replied, "I did not!" Surprised, all I could think to say was, "well, that's a lie." And kaboom, goes the attendant, with accusations against me. All I could think to mention is if she lied, that's makes her "a liar," which sparked an academy award display of emotions from her that the manager could not quell. I was not able to tell the manager that I understood the challenges of evening operations, and that maybe the display informing travelers needing the shuttle should be removed when closed, because her attention became focused on the screaming and caustic employee and trying to get the antics ceased. It was quite a show. Again, kudos to the manager, for she also exhibited strong conflict resolution skills on her employee.Now the reason for the review, but first the Oscar goes to an obviously disturbed and angry employee ... next, a squared away front line manager that I hope National fosters for future leadership roles ... and lastly, if you fly into PBI late, don't try to get a rental car. Ignore the outdoor shuttle signs - just get a ride to pick you up after your flight.One more thing, withstanding

I am a high volume National Business user. I rented a car for a Italy trip this past Sept. 2022. After I returned the car they billed my CC 544.60 for replacing the windshield. When I returned the car there was no damage to the windshield. When I contacted National to help they said they could not help with a Italy rental, I would have to go back to the local company (even though I rented the car from National) I went back to the company and they sent me a bunch of paperwork in Italian. So, I am forced to pay for damage I clearly did not cause. Not very good customer service from National. Switching over to Avis.David Lichtman

The good - Jai is excellent employee who is helpful, patient & cheerful who helped me select right car. Variety of new cars to select. Convenient location. The Bad - nothing.The Ugly - nothing.
