I’ve been shopping at the Family Dollar on Griffin Road for a while now, and it’s consistently a great experience. The store is clean, well-stocked, and easy to navigate—which makes quick trips for essentials super convenient.
What really stands out is the staff. They’re always friendly, helpful, and quick to assist if you’re looking for something specific. On my last visit, I was in a rush and the cashier went above and beyond to help me check out quickly with a smile.
The prices are unbeatable, and I love finding surprise deals on everyday items. Whether I’m grabbing snacks, cleaning supplies, or seasonal goodies, this location never disappoints.

“This Dollar Tree in Tamarac is one of the most organized Dollar Tree. The manager Tiffany is one of the hardest working manager i ever met. Every time I go into that store she working very hard. “The store is cheap and convenient, but usually only has one person tending the registers, so wait times are usually long. The store, in my opinion, is poorly maintained as the products on the shelves are haphazard. I’ve been to stores up north and those were immaculate. You can also blame it on the clientele also which I witnessed just shoving things around with no thought or consideration.”

“I’m extremely surprised on the service at this location. I had been on nearly 20 locations around the area and none of them give the customers the service customers deserve like this location. On 06/07 nearly 1:30pm, I visited this location and it was clean and organized. Bathroom was clean, neat and smelling really great like clean. The lady that was stocking is always amazing. Not 4.2 stars, this location deserves 5+ stars.”

“I was in the area and decided to stop in here and check out this Family Dollar Store. With Dollar Stores, it's sometimes hard to know if the store will be neat, organized or messy.... This store was not bad....not as messy as other ones I have been to, but with lots of stuff on the shelves and boxes on the aisles. Got some inexpensive cookies and some plastic wrap for the condo. There were not that many people waiting to check out, so it was a very quick process.”
“I tell you, why anyone would spend two to three times the amount for spices is beyond me. Onion powder, garlic powder, seasoned salt, curry, cilantro, steak, BBQ sauces, minced garlic, lemon pepper. Put that stuff in a grocery store you're out 28$.
Dollar tree? 12?
And that's just a six foot section of the store.
Paper plates? Birthday balloons? Napkins? Party City is extinct. That's another 15 feet of store.
And in between that? Crafts, chips, cleaning supplies, zip locs, Tupperware, pens and school supplies, holiday decorum.
Don't turn your nose up to Dollar Tree.”

“My experience here was quite nice. I came with a friend on a Wednesday. The staff apologized that a a couple items he needed were sold out and expected to arrive in the major delivery in a couple days. I found the store to be stocked well and also found that this store had a handful of items I've never seen in a Dollar Tree before and bought them. The staff was kind and we had a couple of humorous interactions making it all the more pleasant. I would totally return. Overall the store was clean and orderly. Nothing like some of the photos posted by other reviews here.”

I went to get some health and beauty products and they had a good inventory of them.Their prices are comparable to other discount stores but it's always good to know your prices and find the store that has the best prices for what you need.”
