Samantha was wonderful so gentle, friendly. Lance my pup instantly feel in love ❤️. He is a hard sell on people lol.We definitely will be back, booked our next appointment before we left. I visited Gracies for the first time this week and they took the time to explain everything and make plenty of recommendations for my stubborn, picky, pooch. Also told us what food can make our certain breeds stomach sick. They truly care about my pets health and I know I'm getting exactly what my puppy needs. Thank you Gracies! “It was my first time there and they were so lovely! My dogs are seniors and they were so gentle with them, thankfully. I would take them to PetSmart grooming for years and every time they came back their anal glands would be irritated and their skin too. I moved and wanted to try a new place and the good reviews and how close it is to my house drew me to this place. I’ll definitely be taking my babies here from now on! The cute bandanas and the little jewel on my dog were by far the cutest and really topped off the best groom they’ve ever gotten. Thank you!”

“Been shopping at this PetSmart for going on 2 years, thanks to the addition of our zany labradoodle, who not only loves shopping there, but also loved puppy classes, and then privates, with Camille (who is a 10!).

The store stocks a ton, and will price-match both local competitors AND major online competitors. A few caveats, one that really sucks, if I'm being honest. While Petsmart will price-match competitors, I never expected that the single biggest "competitor" I would have to constantly ask them to price-match is... their own chain!

It is beyond me why a large, reputable chain such as Petsmart has completely different pricing online than it does in-store, for the exact same items! For example, our dogs edible bone treats (a girl has to have her afternoon snack each day)... $16.99 on the shelf in the store... $11.52 on Petsmart's website. So if you don't order online for delivery, or for in-store pick-up, or ask for price-matching inside the store, for the exact same item you will pay over 32% MORE for the convenience of driving to the store and buying off the shelf (all promotions, both online and in-store, apply to either price, but still... that's ridiculous!).

And it used to be easy to have the clerks price-match, even if it was their own store, but you still had to bring up their website on your phone each and every time (and this store's wifi is very spotty, as the cell service in this shopping area is horrible on a regular basis), and you have to prove to them that it's the current date/time stamp on your screenshot (I always have to screenshot b/c the wifi doesn't work well enough most of the time, so I have to plan ahead before I leave home... again, ridiculous). WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU, PETSMART? Why do you inconvenience your customers AND your great team members, who... with their "new and improved" cash register/computer system, went from the cashiers having the ability to apply price-matching, $ off coupons from competitors (warning, you must print and bring in $ off competitor coupons unique to the competitors' stores, not just show it on your mobile device).

But now... the cashier has to have a mgr key in every single price-match... the lines take forever now, whereas before, they were always pretty speedy. This is zero reflection on the great team members in our store - everyone tries so hard to be friendly and helpful, but this method of trying to take advantage of customers who are loyal and shop in-store, without advising them of often MUCH lower prices on Petsmart's own website... that reeks of "shall-not-be-mentioned" competitors who should be ashamed of how they try to mislead customers. This does not at all match with Petsmart's customer service credo - not in the least!

Ok, all that being said, we've always found the team at this store to be amazing, and knowledgable! We've made friends forever at this store (as has our little fuzzy girl). And that's what keeps us coming back! Gotta take 1 star off for the ridiculous price-matching debacle, but otherwise, 5-stars all the way around!”

“My French is Chole got her paw stuck in my small cross body purse when I lifted her out of her car seat, I couldn't see how it was stuck but she was in pain, one of the customers on her way in tried to help but couldn't so I went into Pet Smart and asked the cashier if someone could help me get her unstuck. So he called the manager, who successfully got her paw out without causing physical harm. I really appreciated everyone's help. Thank you”

They were very helpful as we hadn't been there before, so we didn't know where anything was. We are grateful to have a store where we can continue to get the prescribed food.”

“To start, Hector was amazing! His store was clean. His animals were all cared for properly. After speaking with him in person for more than an hour I found a person who genuinely cares for the animals he works with, who has been doing this for longer than most people can hold a job, and I am certain that he does it for a genuine love and affection for working with animals and giving others happiness with a new friend when they leave his store. Pet stores do not generate a survivable wage, this is a passion and a hobby that only those with a great love for animals engage in. After reading some of the reviews left by people who visited Hectors, I had some concerns, not so much regarding Hector and his pet store, but the ignorance and lack of substantive understanding of animal husbandry and regulations by consumers. The first issue I found was with the comments regarding his animals and the condition of his store. If you do not want to see animals in cages go live in the jungle. The purpose of the cage is safety, both for humans and animals. This is how it works. If you do not like it, go somewhere else. Lions are fun when not caged, as are bears. If you have never owned an animal and had to clean multiple cages repeatedly, then you do not know the time it takes and how hard it can be when you also have customers coming and going and no one to help you. The industry is also regulation by Fish & Wildlife (a state government agency) and if things were not aligned with policies and standards Hector would not be in business. The second issue I found was the comments about birds dying and the complaints surrounding those comments. If you do not have familiarity with hand-feeding a baby bird DO NOT BUY ONE! If you have never owned a bird, do not start with something that requires a great deal of interaction. Parrots are not meant to live caged. As a parrot handler and a parrot behaviorist who owns 20 parrots and works with them daily, none of my birds are caged and all of my birds leave the home and go out into the real world for interaction and handling time. If you cage your bird and do not interact with it the inevitable result will be an angry, sad, depressed, nippy and feral bird. It is almost like having a child and they require constant attention. If you do not know how to hand feed a bird buy an adult bird. These are very simple steps to take, rather than complaining or making false allegations against a small business owner who works very hard to maintain a small business that caters to something he is quite passionate about, with very little return. Do your homework before you step out to make a purchase you may regret because it includes work. Do not read reviews and buy in to all the one-sided commentary. Go to Hectors, find him, talk to him, and ask him questions. We purchased a Conure from him less than a month ago, hand fed it, it is alive, it is happy, it is integrated into our flock and it is an absolutely amazing bird. That is all.”
