The worst customer service I have ever had from a bank, one small problem with my insurance company not supply PAID for policy and then they call and threat my credit and me, been there for years and now this! Feel so bad that true customer service has gone down the drain…I see by the other reviews my feelings are not alone

Terrible business etiquette. It's unacceptable when there are no other customers in the Bank and you have one person waiting for 15 mins to see someone.

Southstate Bank (Centerstate Bank) is the only bank I will do business with. They still have that feeling of a "hometown bank" while remaining extremely professional.

I have been banking at this branch for 17 years (before it was Center State) I have never had any problems. I find it to be a good friendly neighborhood bank,

Short and rude. Also, I don't even know how they're even in business. They have no grasp on modern technology. Do not bank here, I've had nothing but problems

Don't believe any grumble butts, who have written a negative review , my experience with CSB for ten years has been nothing but positive and you will not find a better bank to do business anywhere in Polk County. One of their best selling points is you can withdraw money from your account at any Publix ATM at no charge, which gives you a lot of options anywhere you travel that has a Publix.

If you value competence and customer service, do not bank here. I have interacted with them with my parent's accounts for years and they have always been short, rude, and not voluntarily helpful. Today I learned they are rejecting checks written by my father weeks before he died, such as a house rent check, although he created it online via bill pay -- it could only be him. They rejected it because it was cashed a few days after he died. Duh! This is causing harm to his family who is trying to work his estate but cannot yet access the account. We now have the landlord upset and about to assess us late fees. A key representative was not only unhelpful, she accused me of wrongdoing and focused upon that in the face of their poor behavior and the rush around the recent death of the account holder. Wow. It is clear now that the key staff are so poor that it is rubbing off on their "customer service representatives" who were extremely rude in our time of loss. I contrast this with another account at Wells Fargo where they were understanding, helpful, and concerned for the family. If you like abuse, then bank at this Center State. I completely stand by this review. -- Update: I was able to eventually work with the actual Branch Manager, Denise Watts, who was quite professional and listened to what I had to say and eventually did what I asked. I am still left with the experience that occurred under her watch and wonder why such behavior was tolerated. Beware.
