“I've used Extra Space storage multiple times over the years. In two different locations, at different times over the last 3 years. During these time frames, there were multiple times where my rental rate was increased. The first location in south Lakeland was a small closet sized unit. When the location manager there would not work with me on the price increase, I ended up just removing my belongings, bringing them back to store at home. I've since moved and rented again with Extra Space on Wrecker Highway in Winter Haven. Again, over the last 15 months my rates increased twice. Except, at this location, after explaining my need to keep the 10x10 unit, they actually did something to help me. No one wants to pay 210$ for a storage unit. Especially when you rented the unit at 132$. Both times there was to be an increase, it was going to be raised 30$ or more each month. The first time was 6 months after moving my belongings in. They stated it would raise to 191$... WHAT THE HECK?!? So.. I called again explaining that I needed a solution or unfortunately I would need to find somewhere else that would accommodate my budget. That's almost a car payment each month. I explained that I would be keeping the unit for at least another year.. the gentleman was able to get it down to 181$. He stated it was the best he could do. I was thankful, and stayed. Six months later, AGAIN, a price increase to 210$ AGAIN! What the heck!?! So.. another phone call reaching out to explain why I was not intending to pay 210$ a month for a 10x10 outside unit. I would need to move my things or find a solution to the price increase. I had Rachel from Wrecker Highway branch on the phone then. I just paid a 247$ storage unit payment because it was paid on December 26th, one day after my 5 day grace period. Yes y'all.. do auto pay because the late fee is 30$. The 5 day grace period does help but some months, there are life cost that happen and every dollar counts.RACHEL listened to my concerns, was very kind and patient at my long drawn out explanation and request to look at my lengthy history with Extra Space Storage.. She said she was going to reach out to HER boss, and would get back to me as soon as she heard back. She said it may take a couple hours. Well.. she called me back in 30 minutes or less and asked me if 153$ a month sounded better?... RACHEL was my hero that day and I'm now paying the amount I started paying when I signed my rental agreement.Extra Space has wonderful facilities, clean, secure, and easy to access in any type of vehicle. Just be aware that prices increase every 6 months it seems. Depending on the branch, or the person helping you, you may not get the same service as I did in this situation. I'll be staying with Extra Space Storage.. and hopefully next time they state they are going to be raising my rates, I'll either be ready to remove my things, or I'll be in touch with people as great, and helpful as RACHEL and her boss man.Y'ALL ARE MY FAVORITE STORAGE PEEPS! #WreckerHighWayExtraSpaceStorage”

“Had an awesome experience today. Rented a 10ft truck and went to pick it up, but unfortunately the person who had it didn’t bring it back on time. There were no other trucks to be had, but instead A1 hooked me up with a trailer which ended up being cheaper. The staff here is amazing, friendly, and even with the minor inconvenience today, I’ll always come back here!”

“It's a great place to get some work done. The owner comes by and chats sometimes and he's very nice. There's also a tubby gray cat lives there. Don't let him fool you, he's tubby because he gets fed plenty and begs for food from everyone. He loves light pettings though. I've named him Agustus (after the fat Dutch boy from Willy Wonka, they're basically twins). 10/10 work place with bonus cat”
