REI has become a haven for the internet mom influencer looking to purchase snow gear, hiking apparel, cowboy hats, flannels, and Stanley cups all while living in Florida. Don’t let the sale items fool you, they mark it up to internet price and discount it. Clearance really isn’t clearance, it’s what you can buy slightly over the best deal online; you just get the opportunity to take it home that day - that’s the trade off.
The only thing that keeps me going back is the fact I get a 365 day return policy in the event my gear fails.

Large variety of outdoor gear. Become a member to get a 10% rebate. Parking can be an issue at thos location so get there early.

Great store! Amber was very helpful finding hiking shoes that work for me. However, I found the prices displayed were wrong and I paid $50 more at the register for the boots I wanted. The cashier was nonchalant about this, without an apology or promise to correct the displayed prices. This individual seemed unbothered by the issue. It’s very misleading and needs to be fixed. I may not have purchased these if I knew the price originally. Boots are not cheap and they need to display correct prices. Otherwise I enjoyed my shopping experience.

Not educated with products they sell. Couldn’t be bothered to help. Inconvenient attitude and they weren’t busy with customers.

Local store, for the most part great service and cool selection of gear. Amber was great, she helped me our with some advice on boots that I recently purchased elsewhere that havent been been fitting quite right. Like most outdoors stores it can be pricey, but the beautiful thing about REI returns exchange program. Some people are out of their minds and return stuff for the dumbest reasons. I saw a pair of insulated winter gloves returned because "they're too warm." My brother in christ they are WINTER GLOVES. That's kind of the point. So take advantage of other people's ridiculousness and snag some cool gear at great prices. My only hope is REI doesn't discontinue this program.
TL;DR Great store, good staff, pricey but hey what isn't right?

Hi! Mathew in Winter Park Florida should NOT be allowed to answer phone calls from customer. He is RUDE and he is the only person in the entire REI store that I have been who does not have a clue of what customer service is and I have been to many in several state.

Nice store, but why is it so hard to locate prices for everything? Prices should be more prominently displayed and easier to find.
