The customer service was good . Except there was exessive charges . For example . I drove the truck for 9 miles so they charged me $26.80 for a gallon of gas that j used. By the time the added everything else it was $108.00 for 2 hours use . Horrible and unjustified charges . Stay way and be careful !

Five stars for ease of rental, clean truck and ease of return.But they get one star for charging me $25 to remove 4-5 empty water bottles from the passenger seat. I even placed them all on the seat for ease of cleaning. I had no idea that I'd be charged a cleaning fee for that small of a cleanup.U-Haul, I request a refund of the $25. Reservation # 20363449.

Ah, the "Budget Bungle" saga of our move! We booked two 16ft trucks at Budget rental, but when we arrived, it seemed all their trucks had disappeared. Our friends couldn't help us move on Sunday, so it had to happen on Saturday. Thanks to U-Haul, our moving mishap turned into a moving masterpiece. They conjured up the trucks we needed on super short notice. Polite, friendly, and a savior in our "Budget Bungle" adventure – I'd definitely recommend them!

Moved our reservation without telling us anything and then sent us on a wild goose chase for a trailer the day of move-in because the address stipulated on the flyer is wrong. Do not recommend.

Had a situation with the tow dolly i rented from a different location the employees at this location stood out and helped me above and beyond took 3 of us to push the car back onto the dolly Brandon and Quentin thank you for helping us during extreme heat

Very unhappy with the customer service at this location. I will never return. Changed me $58.50 in fuel charges for 25 miles. A total of $133+ for 3 hours and 25 miles. Ridiculous!

This location, N Orlando Ave, north of Lee Road, I would not recommend. I went in store on Sunday afternoon to pick up moving supplies. I picked up dish and glass packs; the label states that boxes are included. The employee that checked out my order did not inform me that the boxes are not in the packaging, but are separate (although included in price). I also picked up other items and couldn't carry all at once. There were no other customers in the store, but the employee did offer to help me get my purchases into my car. Upon returning home and opening the dishpak I realized that I didn't have the "included" box. So, I had to return to store; no corresponding boxes in stock! I requested that someone call me when re-stocked, which should be Monday or Tuesday. I didn't receive a call, so returned to store. The received inventory had not been shelved and the shrink-wrapped stacks weren't labeled as to contents. Glad that I brought the dish and glass pack inserts with me to return for refund so that I don't have to deal with that store again!I then went to the Semoran store; stock an service were great!

$500, multiple times back in, hours and hours in person and on the phone, and I have a hitch but also an incorrectly reattached exhaust that bangs loudly the entire time the car is being driven.After multiple reschedulings and wasted time because the parts couldn’t be found for a week, the install was completed and the exhaust was left loose and banging loudly anytime the car is driven.I stayed there for over an hour and then ended up leaving the car for a few more hours. I was called later and told it was fixed and they had driven it around. I picked up the car and it was still banging loudly and vibrating . I called the next morning and was told that there’s nothing to do, it’s the placement of the hitch. This is not normal, it sounds like it’s going to come off the car and it clangs and vibrates loudly the entire time of driving. I was told to come back and drop it off again but there’s probably nothing they can do. At this point if I can’t get an actual mechanic at this location I can’t keep wasting hours and hours. It will be my fourth time back and I’m in the middle of a move. I now need to take it to a mechanic and pay to fix it before my 13 hour drive in a few days. I’m trying to be understanding, but this is unacceptable and honestly insulting to be told this is normal and expected instead of finding someone to solve the issue.

Horrible! These workers are lazy. The worker saw me walk in and still had me wait over 30minutes. To the point I had to call him to come inside. No wonder this place is only 3 stars. I hope this place gets shut down soon because they really make it hard for people.

My ENTIRE experience at the Winter Park location has been atrocious. My stepfather and I went to drop off my car to have a hitch installed to pull a U-haul trailer. There wasn't a single soul in the store at the time of my reservation. We waited almost 12 minutes before my dad went into the garage to find someone. The General Manager took my keys and said he'd call when it was done. Three hours later, a store clerk called to tell me that the bolt kit needed to install the hitch had "probably rolled out of the box in transit" and that they could not install the hitch today. My mom and I went back to the store to pick up the vehicle and ask for a refund since the service was not performed. The same store clerk said that the General Manager would have to do it from home since he was gone for the day, and it should be done "sooner rather than later". I called back today to speak with someone at the store, specifically the manager, but was transferred and hung up on 3 times. I finally spoke to another store clerk who was able to track down the GM, that did not want to speak to me, but assured he'd get on my refund "right away".

Disgusting they are charging me an extra $224 for a 26 foot truck that wasn’t functional the night before but the following morning I go to try and start it again and it starts fine then a light turned on that wasn’t there before just looked at my account and the took 170 from me while I was buying formula for my daughter pathetic display of professionalism

I rented a van 1 month before I needed it. Jennifer called me at 7pm the night before my pick up and informed me that my van would be at a different uhaul location. She canceled my rental here at Winter Park and scheduled me at Longwood. When I arrived the next day at Longwood, they had no vehicles. Longwood was a storage facility and no vehicles available. The gentleman at Longwood saw my reservation in the system, saw that it was dumped on him, but physically has no vehicles. He looked in the system and found me a vehicle in Lake Mary. So my workday was a nightmare and I paid more for a vehicle that was way too big. They all complain about being able to book other locations in their system but we are the ones that suffer. I will put in a formal complaint but I don't expect much.

U-Haul is ran by an algorithm. I rented a U-Haul with a drop off in Orlando,FL on the contract because the renter couldn't find this location nearest my destination. This location said they would charge me a fee for not returning to Orlando which surrounds Winter Park. I had to drive 30 minutes to the location that U-Haul picked to avoid a large fee. Keep in mind that I rented it only 1.5 hours away. Then I had to pay for the extra gas too.
