“Shakyma in Collections was the most helpful person I have ever spoken with on a customer service phone call. I was quite upset when I called and she was able to explain everything that had occurred with my acct. and what had not been explained to me in the initial application for the credit card, she researched the history in the acct. as to when the issue began and then even offered to do more by speaking with another dept. to see if there could be something else done, she also offered to explain the situation to the new person so I would not have to go through the entire explanation again. When she did all this she said that it was because she did not want them to lose me as a customer,that in itself is not a statement that I have heard in a long time.I believe this young lady will go far in whatever endeavors she decides to do with her jobs and I hope in current employers know they have a true one in a million employee.”

“I contacted Cindy from Mortgagee Title and she recommended Fairwinds Credit Union for mortgage information. I spoke with Alex Jara yesterday and asked him for the information that I needed. He answered all my questions and I asked him to call back later when my husband came home. And he did. Alex is a very articulate and reliable young man. He answered all my questions and said that I could call back when I had the detailed information from the builder. I left a message later that day and he promptly returned my call the next day. Unfortunately we will not be working with Alex at this time because the offer from the builder is something that the credit union cannot match. Alex was very upfront about that but still helped me. This is my first experience with Fairwinds and I must say, what a nice bank it is, if Alex is an example of the other staff. I highly recommend Fairwinds Credit Union based on my experience with them. If things do not work out with this particular builder, I will definitely reach out to Alex again for any mortgage needs.”

This time i must send since i moved to Florida still work for Department of Navy by accident:)These two people must be appreciated in Altamonte Springs, FloridaIt was on Thursday if I recollect -i have gone many times after I moved on October 9th 2023....This last Thursday January 4th 2024...had time crunch and work pressure, it was Lunch time or sort of pretty close to end of my shift...i went to Navy Federal , it was a long line, - Ms. Heaven- hopefully it is the right name-she was sitting in front desk on that day instead of cashier- she was quick to help me how to get that deposited and Dona. She was extremely helpful. Other person who helped to get my (it is hard to put that in this social media) so fast due to ? unable to put here- he was amazing younger brother -his name was Mr. Cristian brother- very nice gentleman - on January 4th he was in the Cashier or Teller or service for depositing or so , but he helped earlier-this is a long due for him... please ensure to pass on this good note to upper management.. Manager and Assistant manager for that branch always says hello and they remember me somehow- too much Asian Indian thick accent with always smiling:) Appreciated- Please pass this on to Upper management please- Appreciated again.Sri”

“I've been a member of Fairwinds Credit Union for almost thirty (30) years and do my banking primarily at the Tuskawilla Branch. Recently, I experienced an issue with the desktop version of the online banking software that prevented me from adding an account. I went to the branch and met with Shellon Maxwell, Member Service Specialist, who took ownership of my issue. She was empathetic and professional. Shellon consulted with another department and followed up with me the next day and offered a solution that we tested together. She made me feel just as important and all other customers.
