The service that was given to me was absolutely horrible they have had my truck for way over the time they where supposed to be done with it it is completely unacceptable

I took my son’s truck here since it was the recommended shop by the warranty and I have used them before to change our tires so taking a look at a check engine light was to not an issue I thought. This was back on 12/26. Fast forward to 12/28 I get a call from pep boys stating we are going to need a complete exhaust system in the truck and that parts would be ordered on Monday 12/30. Fast forward to 12/30 no parts were ordered since Pep boys said Warranty had not approved the total cost yet. I called the warranty on 1/2 since I knew holidays might of delayed things a few days and they confirmed everything was approved so Pep Boys miss informed me. It is now 1/8 and our truck is still not fixed and If I don’t call in I don’t get an update on the vehicle. The parts are not back ordered and they should not be taking this long since they are getting it from Ron Anderson which is literally miles down the road. To say I’m disappointed at their customer service and the lack of communication is to say the least. If I don’t call them I get no updates. So maybe my review will warn others. I told them if I don’t get this resolve by Friday 1/10 I would take my truck somewhere else.

We were traveling on New Year’s Day when our tire light came on. We tried filling the air, and the light went off, only to come back on. Pep Boys was kind enough to fit us in and check our tires throughly. When it turned out to be a sensor problem, they didn’t even charge us! The whole team was amazingly kind and wonderful!

Fantastic customer service from Stephen starting with our initial phone conversation, and during my visit. Trust-worthy recommendations on new tires & brakes, and I was in and out as quickly as possible. Great value for the services provided!

Great experience. Anytime we have car trouble, we have been please with the quality of the service and low cost. They also have great hours to make it easier to drop off and pick up after hours.

Great service, great local people.
I have four cars, including two patrol vehicle and i get all my tires and service there.
Reliable, customer oriented and honest.
Been in Fernandina Beach 21 years and i was so happy to see Pep Boy move in a few years ago as an alternative to older shops whose attitude has changed with the influx of wealth in the are and have come to take their clients for granted.

Brought our evacuation vehicle into this shop to fix a clogged AC Drain line . Made appointment on line at midnight the 11th of Oct and had this issue resolved by 1:15 pm Oct 11th , today ! ( one hour ) this shop is professionally managed and a pleasure to deal with. If we were not 133 miles south of where we live , we’d go here all the time . Very much obliged

Where do I start....
Let me start with an edit....and a star gone...
One more edit the morning after..... After showering and getting ready to load my car for 3 and a 1/2 hour drive, I took my suitcases out to my car and opened my trunk only to find my spare tire was not put back in a spare tire well. I'm handicapped and this is a very difficult chore for me to do was to take everything out of the trunk and figure out how to put it all back together. This was a very bad inconvenience for me this morning. Like I said, being handicapped, I have a broken sweat, I am tired and I have to go back into the hotel and try to get my key back and shower yet again. And by the way, when I looked at my car before I drove away there was one screwcap missing from the tire fill valve.
It's all in the detail!
Austin G. charged me $18.99 to push my TPMS reset button by my directional. That is a rip off. It is a no brainer....
Other than that.....
Stephen is one of the best service representatives I have ever encountered. His knowledge, patience, reassurance and I could go on. I had a tire issue that was purchased from another Pep Boys in another state and Stephen went above and beyond by getting a hold of that Pep Boys to validate the purchase and warranty. I appreciate all his efforts and work. Apparently one of the steel belts let go in my right front tire, which presented a very dangerous situation. We put in 4 new tires on for safety reasons and Stephen again went above and beyond to get four tires for me. My issue was solved and I was safely back on my way within 24 hours. I cannot thank Pep Boys enough. I also encountered Teresa in the morning of the work and I appreciate her pleasant smile and excellent customer service as well.
Yes tires are expensive but I will not compromise safety.

We were happy customers of Pep Boys in Hiram, Ga., for years. Unfortunately, it's one and done in Yulee. Five days after my first oil change there, the splash deflector under the engine of my car came loose on the interstate (scary stuff when you have no idea what's happening and nowhere to safely pull off). When I called to let them know, the guy told me a) it happens all the time (maybe ... but never for me) and b) customers are constantly coming in with a similar issue (install problem perhaps?). No offer to replace the part (which was destroyed). He did say they would install a new one if I purchased it and brought it in. No thanks. If I'm going to buy the new part, I'd rather go to someone who takes care with the install and gets it right the first time. Disappointing, because I was impressed by the customer service during my initial visit. Oh well.

I booked a service I thought I needed, but Theresa let me know it actually wouldn’t be helpful for the issues I described with my car. This saved me time and money! She was so kind from the moment I walked in, and gave me free extremely helpful information!!! She was clear, honest, and thorough about what I do need, how much it would cost, and how long it could take. I’ve been having several complex issues with my car, and the info she gave me was more thorough and helpful than what I paid for at my local Chrysler dealership. Although I didn’t have any service done, I can tell this shop has good honest people. I don’t feel as if they would do anything unnecessary to cost you money or be deceptive, but quite the opposite. Thank you for all your help!

The worst place ever. I bring in my part in with my car to have it worked on and they kept the part and charged me for the work they didn't do.
