“I bought a bike here because the trails in town were really nice. It was an old, crusty bike and they wouldn't give me a discount. lol! That's ok, I enjoyed the bike and gave it to someone else who needed one. Fun times!”

“A lot of pretty good used stuff to choose from here. Lots of clothes. Although I don’t usually buy the clothes. I mostly just like to walk around and look for a deal. They had some nice furniture at this particular store that was very cheap even two huge recliners that were $10 a piece. Of course they needed to be cleaned but for $10 it would be worth it. I purchased a crock pot and checked it out before buying and it worked. Cleaned it up yesterday and used it and it actually worked really good for $7. Plenty of flat screen tv’s for around $10 also. Just need a remote to go with them or universal remote I’m sure. But so far it’s just like any other Goodwill I’ve seen. Some junk and some really nice stuff. Would definitely check it out again if I’m back that way again.”

“Been shopping with the "Salvage Sisters" fot years...their acre is full of treasures of every variety...Especially entranced by the Crystal and Glass Hangings & Bird Feeders for the Garden put together by Pat. So many of their Objets d'Art are put together from other items which had a previous 'life' as something entirely different!There are signs galore cleverly using metal letters, & painted ones. Several buildings on the property are shed-types with windows, shelves & wall-mounted displays. You have to take the time to carefully inspect as to not miss a treasure on a lower shelf.Care has been taken to keep pairs like cups and saucers or different sizes of similar vases together.Inside the 'shoppe"where vintage fabrics can be found, jewelry & watches in showcases, shelves of collectibles, and pictures of every sort from lighthouses to vintage books +++This place is a treasure house of plates...they are sorted by type & manufacturer ...you'll find ones you grew up with, and some you've never seen at all...each is a $1...years ago I got an outer clear glass cake plate with a red center...perfect to place in a sunny window...instant 'stained glass'...Whatever your favorite color is this year, or this month, you're sure to have fun and find more than one treasure at Junk in the Trunk!?”
